We have to be weary of the traders who affect the SP short term. Also is worth asking the question.... Is the typical private small investor an intelligent and we'll thought out individual who considers things in context and their long term potential. Or the your to buy on hype and sell panicked on a downward slope. Look at how high Tesla went.... It was worth more market cap than of the other established car makers put together. Anyway you get my point
From reading posts and watching the interviews, don't know about everyone else but I feel far more positive about these results. It's easy to forget these are maiden drill program results and shouldnt be compared with latter stage results from other companies. Just finding gold in a maiden drill program is a success! And allows for kicking on ahead!
Surely the simple truth is ....
None of us (unless we have insider info) have any idea what the results are. They may be really poor, really amazing or anything in between! And any speculation from us is simply excitement or dread showing through. Aka emotional!
I might be reading into this with rose tinted glasses but the fact they've got some results and still want to release the results of each area seperately could be good news. Hopefully it means the batches are good so they're with keeping as individual RNSs. If you got a crap set of results, you'd want to hide them within a larger set....
I totally understand everyone's annoyance with how long we're having to wait vs what we were initially told for timelines for likely assay results! Like the next person, I wish my investment was green/blue and rising not in the red.
BUT, unless Im very much mistaken, there is nothing to suggest (compared to say 3 months ago) results will be less positive etc. Even if we ignore the RNS about visible gold, nothing has changed - no better, no worse! Still the same amazing potential and the same risks involved!
Im not an experienced investor but all I've learnt in my limited time is that investments can only go up/down. They can't stagnate for weeks/months. Which is really what should've happened here as we all waited for assays. A few get anxious, a few bored and sell - it leads to a drop then more people panic and the cycle goes on..... But they'll all be back when we hopefully get the positive assays and the rest of the news.....
Just noticed the mood here has dropped a bit in the last week! It sucks to have to wait day in day out for news! But just a quick reminder nothing has changed since the share price hit 1.8p. We're still awaiting the same news, holding the same assets and got the same BoD! There hasnt been any negative news since! We're just as full of potential as then but also just as risky as then!
Haha! Like a lot of the others I bought into here for the potential of big reward (there is big risk too obviously!) so I'm in it for the long haul. Personally, I dont understand the point of investing in a low cap risky compnay like this for a quick 10-20% rise. With several big FTSE 100 companies still down from COVID you can easily and less riskily get moderate gains there as the economy reopens.
Hi guys!Im a medium sized ORR investor with about 6.5m shares bought some earlier this year and some more recently so averaged about 1.2p. I've been reading a lot of posts here etc so thought it's about time I say thanks to all the wise ones here who Im learning a lot from and you've all certainly kept me entertained with your senses of humour!
Here's to seeing things really take off soon!
