There isnt an ex dividend it isnt paying a dividend at the moment and hasnt for over a decade.
show me where it has plenty of cash ?????
\
This company while I have been invested has NEVER had a lot of cash, that is why they have borrowed from Gazprombank, and are currently trying to repay the pre paid gold, which was in effect a form of borrowing.
If people are going to post, whether positive or negative, please at least get your facts right.
This must be the most ridiculous post ever, Not without risks, Bloody hell , How amazing you could point that out, Thank you so much.
Hambro was never shafted. He put up his shares as security for a bet on the gold price, He lost, he lost his shares. He supposedly put up the money along with Pavel to underwrite the rights issue. It was never their money as was proved with a number of put and call options and money provided by I believe ABM AMbro or something like that .
downbutnot out, Reading "supposed" info on bulletin boards, while sometimes interesting, should always be taken with a pinch of salt, as people often have agendas.
Unfortunately, with POG because of the radical fall in share price, and the fact that is has appeared on the largest percentage falls in the share prices above, then the "sheep" have come, "The lunatics have taken over the assylum"
I hope some normality comes back, eventually, the big worry for me, is that if the invasion does not stop, and the sanctions continue, we will have a major problem with the refinancing of the bonds, as Gazprombank have been providing recent funding,
Where is the poster who recently said POG were cash rich ??

I appreciate your frustration Lawrence13, and i agree the bod could have put out something, but, they are not responsible for this, they have not raided ukraine, lets hope this picks up,
But lets also hope somebody kicks Putins ass as only a ceasefire, or russian troops getting battered ( which I dont want to see ) because its not their choice.
Where is John Lennon when you need him.
Yes see where you are going Radium1, technically, it is within the next 12 months, although, they could have been more specific like the company.
Interestingly saying today, once its completed, might undertake another one ?
Radium1, I do not agree with your assumption that finncap are not in tandem.
Reality is, they can only buy back shares that are available for re-purchase. They are also restricted by the 5% rule, which mean if there is a increase of more than 5% they can not buy more till that is the "average"
So it is a case of they can buy what they can when available and within the limits. How is that out of tandem may I ask.
This is a much bigger buyback programme than the last one, and at times they were able to buy very little or no shares on some days.
so in that case, GGP which has over 4 billion in place should have collapsed already. Ridiculous statement. There is a very simple way to reduce the shares in issue, that is to have a share consolidation.
But that unfortunately is not the major problem at the moment, anyone with half a brain can see that.
Hi Freddie, the RNS was to do with the amount of shares with voting rights has changed because of the conversion last week. So the company has to advise market new shares in issue.
if a company drops below 10% in a day, there is an auction just to try and match shares, this is similar to the UT at close. You sometimes get an RNS when this happens, but with the drops we are seeing, it drops below that 10% figure rapidly , therefore < the reason we do not get an RNS
In this situation, firstly we should be thinking about the awful deaths of innocent people and hope there can be a breakthrough in talks to try and stop this warfare. But, I think it will take a long time to get back any sort of normality.
I did a trade a week or so ago, couldnt get a trade online, but was able to trade on the phone as broker just called up marketmaker, could be just that there are many trades going through and market very volatile. ??
ONLY COMPANIES HAVE TO NOTIFY WHEN BELOW 3%
Total voting rights is an RNS which is done at the end of the month if you care to check,
