Hi Vas, thanks for this. A really excellent piece of news for CC. Following yesterday's rather deflating news—especially for us lifers— this would be a massive fillip for the hopes of all shareholders. Is this a contemporaneous report from Phil Beecher? If so, there may well be a corresponding and significant rise in the SP—IMHO.
Hi Jake. Yes, we have all shown great patience, investors and board alike. When the company transitions from cash consumptive to cash generative, the SP will reflect that. And, I cannot remember a bigger, and more timely opportunity for any AIM listed company in my years of investing. My genuine opinion is that the (not inconsiderable number) ducks may be finally aligning. For the “long-termers” that would mean a welcome transition. May 2024 be good for you and the others on here, both new and old. The benefits of this Anglo-Indian synergy, will make sense to one of the global players. And once that begins, hopefully we will all get a pleasant surprise.

Two Indian government bodies have now produced recommendations that are super important, and super exciting.
1. RF is the best option for last mile comms because of —security, efficiency, ease of use/install and cost.
2. WI Sun should be the basis for that RF deployment.
3. HES should be fully interoperable at each DISCOM.
This is exactly what CC do, and have done millions of times over, with audit trails showing >99.5 % SLA agreement for data acquisition, two-way comms and reliability. And, in all sorts of challenging terrains.
We already know that Cyanconnode are highly regarded, and as 'thought leaders', in the Indian smart meter rollout, as they have been at the centre of this very well organised planning and roll out for nearly ten years. What they have promised to be the best way, has worked, and lives up to SLAs at all levels. The announcements of both the BIS latterly, and the SMGF before Christmas, shows how ingrained CC are in this process for 250m meters, and supporting connectivity and HES.
It is possible that CC will be a global player in the very near future—keep the faith and GLA

Hi Vas,
The ISGF recommended agnostic Head End Software in one of their bulletins in 2023—that could integrate cellular and RF, the two main IoT systems in being used in India.
This is therefore a timely development by CC.
I not that Trilliant are also 'one of the partners' for HES to Intellismart.

Great order from MC.
The next logical question for me is—
Do we know the number of meters in total that have been awarded to MC?
We would then know the significance of this beachhead's true potential going forwards.
To me the logical SP (considering this order alone is worth 1/3 of CC MC—thanks to SBP other site) would be 20+p.
This is a truly great start to 2024.

If the links dont work, simply google "directors talks cyanconnode" and look for the 48 page ISGF report.
IMO a very important document at a critical time for the company. It's dated October 2023, so apologies if everyone has read it.

The whole paper is worth a read and recommends A SINGLE AGNOSTIC type of Head End which is exactly what CC has produced and demonstrated can work efficiently with very high SLAs.
I suspect we will have a very exciting run up to Christmas this year—and a very fruitful 2024.

if you go yo the botton of the page you will see the isgf report
i quote "ami requires two-way communications between the smart meter and the discom’s computers in the control room (or on the cloud). various communication technologies, either individually or in combination, have been used by utilities worldwide for ami. major utilities in north america, australia, japan, nordic europe, south america, and south korea have opted for the radio frequency mesh (rf mesh) solution for their last mile connectivity. "
on my opinion this is a highly significant piece opf advice for the "not-for -profit" isgf.
good luck all. rups
Thanks LTI—very useful. The crucial factor being that should someone make an approach, it is in the seller's interest to release an RNS ASAP, so SP rises and more bids are hoped for. Agree—not just yet please!
Good luck—I don't post much these days, but pop in and out, to see what the ''lifers'' are up to. LOL
Rups
LT, thank you.
Is my assumption correct — that should any potential buyer approach CC, be that PE in the UK or one of the big primary player partners e.g. GENUS in India, that 'approach' would have to be announced by CC as an RNS—before any discussions take place. Imagine what that would do to the SP!
Best wishes to all—sounds like we will see some important news in the very near future.

Simply Wall Street updated their valuation on Cyanconnode on 25.08.23. https://simplywall.st/stocks/gb/semiconductors/aim-cyan/cyanconnode-holdings-shares
A Discounted Cash Flow analysis, calculates Cyanconnode's fair share price to be 0.52 GBP.
The current SP makes CC significantly undervalued.
A few good (big) orders over the next 3-4 months, could see a significant upturn in the SP.

—We know that their 'Infrastructure' division are tendering for RF Mesh Networks.
—We now know that their total meter order book is now worth c 800 million dollars.
—Not bad news for a damp Tuesday.
