There won’t be another placing just like there was no need of the Lind facility despite tantrums of doom and gloom from some corner. Where is funding from the SWP coming from? It has been stated many times on video presentations and in the Q & A on the Cerp website, you just have to read it and listen to the interviews. Wells are going to cost between $2-4 million and plan to drill 2-3 wells this year. There are lots we don’t know but what we do know is that the men in charge know what hey are doing, they have the plans and are executing them. What we do know is 3 large investors happily put in money at 3.5p a share and LK and the BOD are taking half their salary in shares. What does that tell you? They are not fools, they know what they are doing and they know where this company is heading. Don’t anybody ( except the obvious) complain how much they make from the company when it’s successful - it could be £millions! Everybody still has the chance to buy sub 3p now, I assume we are all fully loaded. Good luck to all CERP investors!

I don’t think I even hinted that there was a twitter group conspiracy here but glad you covered that off for the benefit of all. Blacksheep15 - thanks very much for that, I didn’t realise last time it was 5 weeks. I am not in the twitter group so if there has been any information from the visit posted on the twitter feed but hasn’t been posted here, I am sure there are many others as well as myself that would appreciate knowing. The ‘large plot’ cannabis looked particularly impressive, the market is huge so potentially it could be a game changer. I know, patience is required, but as long as we keep heading in the right direction we can be patient. Thanks.

LK did say in his last video interview that he was having teething problems with Heritage but they would ‘sort it’. He didn’t elaborate further but if the worse case scenario is they are slow paying it’s not ideal but hardly a game changer. As we don’t know it’s oure soeculation. He has also previously stated there are too many oil companies in Trinidad and consolidation is the way ahead. Hope some M & A news comes soon to give something factual to discuss.

A very welcome 20% rise in SP today and a volume we haven't seen for some time. Both developments are exciting and whilst I'm happy with both I don't really understand it. There have been several RNS's in the past which I thought justified a rerating like today but usually it only resulted in an increase of 2-3%. Today's news was just confirmation that the 8 wells are now all producing but this was expected as it was stated in the previous RNS. No flow figures were revealed so it wasn't beyond the realms of possibility that this would attract negative comments and the SP would just tread water today. I am now hopeful that when the flow rates are published they are as positive as we are expecting and this confirmation is followed by another 20% rise in SP. Other expected or unexpected positive news combined with the low number of shares in issue could give the SP the sort of rerate many of us have been wanting/expecting for some time. Further news of revenue generation could supply this positive outcome. GLA!

Great link HD, thanks for posting. The projected increases in both water required for fracking and waste water needing disposing of is quite stunning. We could be getting closer to a potentially huge revenue generator and hopefully when the flow rates are announced for all 8 ED wells we get an informative update of all our other operations. Until we are told otherwise I see no reason not to be positive for 2019 and beyond. Shouldn’t have much longer to wait.

Ross - in my last post I wrote ‘The headline figure of the quarterly production numbers was obviously disappointing’ and then you respond and state that I predicted an average of 925 bopd and ask if I am not at all disappointed? Clearly the adverse weather affected production and it’s not something I took into consideration. My guess at peak production of 1070 bopd was a lot closer - despite the weather. You have mentioned cashburn in nearly all of your numerous posts and also gone on and on about the Lind facility and how foolish LK would be to let it slip through his fingers. Why worry about funding which is nearly 6 months away, he clearly isn’t. Production of 1000 bopd generates a lot of cash, WTI is officially in a bull run now its 20% higher than it’s December low. He is the man in charge, he has all the information, there is no logic to your constant nagging about finances - it would be hard to understand if you were invested, impossible to fathom as you aren’t. Maybe the soon to announced M & A deal will help you or maybe the sale of Trinity Innis is nailed on or that 1000 of very profitable bopd along with cash in the bank is plenty. Maybe now that they are producing 1000 bopd he knows Lind will offer another facility but on even better terms. Lind hold plenty of shares, they are not a PayDay lender. I don’t know the answer but I am certainly not worried about finances and suggest you don’t either. Good night

Jcgswims - thanks for supplying the alternative link, it was great to watch and highly recommend anyone who has not watched it to do so. The headline figure of the quarterly production numbers was obviously disappointing and the SP has reacted accordingly but when you see peak production was 1021 good and that is after the severe weather it makes you wonder what peak production would have been with clear skies. LK was happy to commit to drilling mid year, clearly excited that a successful drill in the smallest target of 20 million oil in place is company changing and expects to announce a M&A in the near future. With 6 producing fields of 1000 bopd he says Columbus is now a proper oil company and ' 2019 is what we have been waiting for, it's going to be a great year! Its upwards and onwards
with a rising oil price, lower costs and a focus on making money to fund our drilling activity. IMO no placing required, he's running a lean machine and I share his excitement for 2019.

Chesh - I am back to ignoring Ross, its a free world and everybody makes their own choice but for me its gone from months and months of pure negativity from him to just pointless rubbish. I'm not sure or interested if Ross truly believes the fundamentlas aren't right but he seems to believe Columbus are on their last hundred bucks and if LK took advantage of the Lind facility available the fundamentals would miraculously be good. Total rubbish IMO. As shareholders I feel we are starting to get used to the Quarterly updates, at least when they do come we know they are comprehensive and detailed and quickly followed by media to add further clarity. I'm confident LK and the team know what they are doing, cash discipine is first class, a lot of the legacy issues have been addressed and expenditure on Spain is just about behind us. LK is not 2 years into his 3-5 year plan, you either believe in his ability to deliver or you dont and I think most of us believe alomng with Schroders, BigMJ and the other II whose name escapes me. The company (not the SP) came a long way in 2018 and I feel both the company the SP will climb new heights in 2019. I believe transformational growth is upon us and thats before we drill. To all those who are invested, Merry Christmas and A Very Prosperous New Year - nothing more to add until the next RNS.

A read through October’s update is a reminder of the many options available to LK to increase production in a cost effective manner. Some but not all of this work will have started but I believe there will be a significant increase in production, again, in Q1 2019. We are all looking ahead to the 2-3 promised drills from the end of H1 onwards but LK has stated he expects Goudron to produce 2000 bopd with waterflood and there are a multitude of opportunities in the other fields. The next 6 months are going to be exciting too.Don’t forget when LK took over, the oil price was low and average production was 327 bopd. Office costs have been slashed, old management are off the payroll, payments to Spain are coming to an end and production is increasing every Q. WTI is low right now but monthly average for October was $ 70.23 ( yes I know we don’t receive this) but the company has stated for Nov sales they are going to receive $58.397 and the lower WTI price does not hugely impact on the company (read Q & A on company website). I am optimistic because official news has been positive, the major shareholders have expressed their confidence by increasing their stake in the company and the only negativity has come from the well known key board warriors. The SP is dire right now but this time next year we’ll be looking at the company in a totally different light - IMHO!

Ross - I’ll make an exception and respond to you directly, just this once, as it’s Xmas. I have no idea why you are obsessively negative towards Columbus, especially as you are not invested and I don’t think you seriously believe most of the stuff you write, it’s probably just one big wind up - but as it’s Xmas ... In a previous post you say there is little information about but you must recognise that LK has all the information at his fingertips yet you still write ‘even LK is avoiding reality (and thereby putting shareholder value at risk) - that sentence is just laughable! Why is the Lind facility such a gift in your opinion? If additional funding is required I am sure he has many options but in the short term, I don’t think additional funding is required. ‘ The company strategy for well over a year has been to fund our initial exploration activities in the SWP from cash flow generated from our operations’. ‘ There are plenty of financing options available to the company that would not result in significant dilution should the company see its success in its exploration activities’ - just read the Q & A on the company website until the next update.

Correct LLL - just pure speculation on your behalf! Let’s not ‘imagine’ anything but deal with reality in the here and now. You may think institutional investors might find it difficult ‘justifying maintaining an interest in the company’ but that’s just you. Following their most recent increased investment in the company I would think they are very happy with the way the company is performing and the direction it is heading and will not be in the least bit worried about the daily SP movement. On the next operational update maybe most investors here will share their confidence in the future. Let’s wait and see and leave further comment until then. Good night!

Same old same old. LK doesn’t need a cash buffer, they are not down to their last million $ but not going to argue the point with you, just wait for the next update. A lower oil price will not threaten the companies existence unlike the previous company LGO. A lower oil price will just mean they won’t be able to progress their plans as fast as they would have done otherwise. It was only about 8 weeks ago WTI peaked at it’s highest level for years, who knows what price it will be in 8 weeks time but you can be sure that next years work programme and budget will be set using a realistic expectation of the oil price. ‘Breaking open’ the Lind facility is not on the agenda to provide the company with a cash buffer as LK is on record as saying he is not fond of debt and at the moment we have very little debt. If the Lind facility is used in the next few weeks I will take it as a positive sign because it will be used to accelerate the companies growth. Any M & A activity is not going to be reliant on the Lind facility (someone is obsessed with this). Read the companies Q&A to find out their present and future funding plans.

JofHoggit - thanks for the info, I’d almost forgotten about Renegade. You’d like to think a deal could be struck so everybody’s a winner, we’ll just have to wait and see!

Great videos, the potential is definitely there. Q - if the flow rates from the 6 new wells are as good as the first 2 is there any reason why True Oil would not elect to drill to the full potential of 24 wells? Confirmation of the next phase of another 8 wells at no cost to Highlands but having a 7.5% free carry would certainly give the SP a rerating. Could this come anytime soon?
