Apart from the load our biggest investor has got rid off. Could they be fully selling out?
Not surprised after that RNS. They probably have a load to shift.
If they have held onto so many. We could get a similar RNS tomorrow saying they have ditched the lot. How long have they been invested for?
So close to mine built date and they ditch.
Unless like PAAA says and they going to be involved in the phase 2 funding and getting the sold shares for a lot less.
Just hope they are not shifting the lot. Are we likely to get another one soon. They have been invested so long. Why sell so many now?
cheers john. They should make it easier to fill in. At the end of the day I have calculated that I owe nothing. All trades are on the calculator, I just cannot upload it.
John. I just tried entering the details about the transactions. It is a mare. Wont accept certain characters, and won't allow me to upload my figures its too large a file, tried to split it up and it contains characters it won't accept. I gave up and just ticked I didn't get above £11700 in gains, which is the truth.
PAAA. I have tried to get to hire an expert to do this. 3 accountants don't want to touch it. 1 said they don't do CGT. The other said its too late for her as its complex. Go figure.
Thanks John.
Yes I needed to put the dates in the calculator. I filled in my self assessment. I must have read it wrong as the £46k question I answered no, and then declared I didn't go over £11000. Its been submitted now.
I did this online and it says i don't owe anything. Thankfully i made a purchase in March 2018 and didn't sell until after April 2018. Anyone agree?

Oh I got out of there after AB paid me £1000 on a bet we had. Fair play to him that he paid out. Did a bank transfer straight away after he lost.
Old rascal. I do know how many I bought and sold. Never declared anything before now as I only bought. The thing that is puzzling me is that the first trade I am going to tell the tax man about is a sake of £20k to a bed and isa. That is showing as a sell in my dealing account albeit bed and isa. Now is that going to go down as £20k profit? I didn’t see it as a profit in cash terms as it was put straight into my isa. I did take £16k as cash over the financial year but I have invested more than 16k in previous years without selling. So am I even due to pay CGT.
Only disappeared on here. Still fully invested.
The 16k was taken as cash and I kept the original size of shares. I was hoping it was as simple as paying tax on the difference between 16k and 11.4k, but my profit is not more than I paid in, even though I have the same shares.
Thanks. It how I get it started really. So I am doing my self assessment. I am PAYE and my p60 is showing taxable pay of £136k.
I started buying only sxx in 2016 with £15k in my isa and £40k in a dealing account. On the 6/4/17 I did a bed and isa for £20k. I then bought and sold from both accounts. Keeping the same amount of shares but effectively as I sold high and i bought low, I managed to transfer all my dealing account shares to my isa account and take about £16k profit.
This is the first year I have to declare my dealings but how do I get it started. I am using CGT calculator but when I type in the first transaction of £20 k sale on ISA day, it wants to know how much I bought them for. I have no idea as I bought £40k worth over time.
Can anyone please advise about CGT query please.
Alan. I did sell out. However I am fully in again. I am just riding it out now silently. Don’t look much as it consumed my time. I have the shares that I wanted back and will just be a silent investor now. Happy to sit in the sidelines.
am a little confused when i see the trades and the value of them? How can 750k trades at 0.22 be £176k???
There is a RNS you know out.
looks like RGM have sold, the 23.6 million one
31.1 paid, but low trade. Lots of strange trades recently. 281?
