I’ve never even heard of inews. I doubt the person/persons it’s aimed at has either. Just broadcast on bbc and radio. Surely they have their details to contact them.

From what I’ve read over various articles it’s quite refreshing to not read note to negative news. All seems level and positive. To round up the 1.9tn has been granted (can be viewed both ways) the Johnson and Johnson is now approved by fda for U.S and that is a single dose jab. The U.K will start its process to get the j&J jab passed so we can roll out more. We have 30million of these.
5bn relief package for business ready for re opening. The U.K reports lowest infection rate in 5 months too.

Was also reading that Australia has reported no Covid related deaths since new year. With a population of 25million they shouldn’t take that long to vaccinate with 4million due to be vaccinated by end of March.

There’s a few protests going on regarding queue jumping but overall like I said before this weekend was quite refreshing to read that leaders are edging now saying there’s light at the end of the tunnel but being honest in the fact that we need to stay vigilant too.

Haha, I’m better off being at work. Worked everyday since new year as there isn’t anything better to do, first weekend off and I’m bored. :)

On another note, at least fridays corona update was ok. Nothing really negative to report and can’t see anything changing over the weekend either so fingers crossed for next week

The MMs will definitely be about on the 11th so it will be a case of being on standby. Investors won’t be surprise if it’s not that good as they know they’ve already doctored that in but it won’t stop the MMS driving it down for 10minutes

Yes I d mid notice that botbot. I would like to know why that rate is used though. I know how you know it but would be nice to know if there is a technical explanation. Is it an average over so many months etc.

Yes I’m hoping the sell of was profit taking and Monday will initiate new, more, existing investors. I think the US has done what it needs to do and is in recovery. Won’t be surprised if Wall Street gets back to where it was 2 days ago.

Crazy isn’t it. Since their rights issue they’ve gone from strength to strength. I do understand that the will see revenue before we do in terms of people booking ahead etc. But yeh most travel stocks were blue today too.

Yeh I knew there would be a drop too. I should have taken profits at yesterday’s highs and re invested it today but hey ho. Back level again now and still in.
I’m hoping Monday will be positive with it being beginning of the month.

Next week will be a bit jittery/nervy I think. Would be nice to see a spike upwards again. I find it strange that the spike happened Thursday rather than Monday. Usually the spike would be the beginning of the week after the good news then duo through the week. Hopefully fresh investments as beginning of the month, the outlook is still more positive than it was before anyway.

Hopefully business will resume as of Monday. Can’t blame people for profit taking and also it’s the last day of the month too. Nothing is changed in since Monday and the sentiment has definitely improved so unless MMs are fiddling then I dont see any reason for it to tumble.

Fingers crossed for next week. Vaccines are surging ahead and things are getting better. It’s still been a good week but for me I’m still not in any profit so hinds sight I would have taken the 1.18 and then re invested as I’m maxed out.

I’m sure if 130 hit again we would see a lot of profit taking. Me included.

Just sifted through the threads back to yesterday. Botbot gave the exchange of ryceys yesterday’s close at 1.73 @ 1.45 = 1.19. This morning the market opened at 118.63.

So botbot was pretty bang on with that. But I do know that that hasn’t always been right over the last few weeks.
