Well let’s see what happens. Just all a bit jittery right now with two factors, banks and war but nothing we can change I suppose.

Would be nice, think this is out of everybody’s hands right now and purely to do with what the banks are hiding if they have issues. The only good thing is at least it’s not targeted directly to RR.

Short lived anyway, we will see 144 again today after initial hype over.

It’s lovely when a trade opens instantly in profit. I know you don’t care about the drops but some do.

I know that, thanks billy. It actually opened at 155 though then quick back down and looks stable around 150 zone. See what happens from here now I suppose, markets looking positive until next debacle.
Not sure we will see the rises like the day before yesterday as investors will now be cautious/anticipating another bank.

This was my point on another post last night, I think that was strategic. Let’s see if they’re closed today, or even if it was true.

Futures just started to take a turn. From 5am the downward pressure started so be interesting to see how much Asia affects markets today and if they can continue their recovery or not.

I didn’t see any RR mentioned specifically. They just said that nuclear is classed as a green source. Obviously RR is included but they’re bringing in competitors for tender before selecting. Selection for SMR will be before year end.

A bail out was on the cards of course but it was the fact that Saudi couldn’t because of regulatory reasons of going above the 10% threshold.
So, which bank is next is the question? :)

Do you think the markets being driven down is to cover the shorts across these banks as collateral?

Surely not a repeat of yesterday again.

Still lots of downward pressure today in the UK, US looks like it could offer some sort of recovery in the 2nd half of this trading session.
I think Credit Suisse still the driving factor.

I thought the budget was alright.

SMR won’t be decided until the end of the year. By then I think it will be too late.
The other theory is they have to let competitors offer before selecting so it’s fair game for all even if they have already decided. It would seem silly to have already invested 210m into r&d without being at the very least very serious in entering negotiations.

Could have said the same for IAG and look what that has done in the last few weeks. Ah well let’s see what the rest of the week offers.
