-Profit taking as this stock has performed so well it was always going to have some people take profit

In other news. Aston Martin pulling away again with over 4% upside today, that stock has been ridiculous.

2nd is the financial half year results.

Yeh I got in quite high on this and managed to average down. I’ve stopped averaging down now as faith is lost in the company. My average is 39.

What happened with Tui then? Just taking a peek at the charts. Did they consolidate in March or something? Then what’s happened since then, another rights issue?

I’m finding it difficult to invest in anything other than rolls right now, almost like an emotional attachment but also because (like everybody) really believe in this stock.

I know travel stocks are a long play so I know they will do ok but have no clue on market cap or potentials of where those 2 can go.

Hi botbot very well thanks. Glad all has worked out for you. I stuck at rolls and managed my account much better. I have moved a big chunk into share isa but left original spread bet holdings open and kept adding once I gained more margin.

I thought it was dead money anyway so let’s just see what happens. So a gruelling 18months of ups and downs but positions looking healthier.

My new issue now is looking to diversify more and what to actually get in to. I’m going to start looking at more AI based companies, some newly formed and others more established blue chip companies to have a handle in that sector.

Reluctant to get into CCL and TUI as feel I’ve missed the boat and already have rr and iag in portfolio. My one regret is Aston Martin though.

2nd is a double big day for me as PayPal earnings will be released too.

It’s shaping up nicely. I did anticipate some profit taking later today but… as I said in another post there is a definite fomo at present.

Really pleased to see Rolls sustaining its highs. I can’t imagine anyone wanting to sell today but we may see some profit taking later today. FOMO is definitely present at the moment.

The main positives from this is that it’s not a negative. There’s more upside to come and as this news is digested over the coming weeks there will be a slow and steady climb.

Would have been nice to see this rns yesterday. I think you’re right that it’s been overshadowed.

So far so good, but not out the water yet, only 2-3% rise. Which is great by all means but easily reversible. No massive jumps like rolls but hopefully a steady climb over the coming weeks as investors faith is restored.

Well from overnight downward pressure from US. First feeling is a positive day for the markets in general.

As much as I could only dream of it I do think it’s a bit too ambitious. I really have no idea how this is going to go. Back to recent highs of around 175 would be a push though I feel for today. Then maybe look to break in the coming weeks.

Then again, we’ve been here before and we know what can happen.

So this next week is big for me, today with Mobviosu iag then a double whammy on 2nd with PayPal and rolls Royce. Feel at ease with rolls but it’s PayPal that’s really been fudging me the last year and a half.
