Totally agree, Pete. I’m hopeful this newsflow is building to a crescendo of some sort of instant revenue deal or at least a raise at a premium on announcement of a deal. The funds must be at a critical level, the SP will not rise substantially ever again on the news of collaborations or expectation. Minty used up any goodwill and trust there. Transparency and a deal over the line is what’s required to restore faith and belief that it’s all real. FWIW, I believe it is and we are almost there. Just a little more patience required.
Cheers QT (and likewise). Level headed and balanced poster.
No big secret, Alert. Let’s hope the fundraise permission they got is used wisely and AFTER a deal eh. Lol
Just remember who launched the personal attack, not me. Old Chap.
Doesn’t take much to get the hackles up on this board it seems, some things never change. The same tetchy, over exposed individuals who are happy to launch personal attacks in order to shout down any dissent. Very ugly. For the avoidance of doubt my voting at the AGM was balanced and deliberate, I knew the outcome but it was one of principle and a principle I could easily stand by. Let’s face it, the vote was swung by two PI’s in the room and anyone else’s voting was completely irrelevant. I didn’t take my lead from anyone and challenged the BOD on the day. I’m used to being threatened and bashed on this board but as predicted none of those people approached me on the day, funny that.
All this aside, QT is absolutely correct. This board is not about harassing each other and that was not the point of my original post, it was simply to urge caution and not allow speculation, however well intended or beliefs firmly held to run away from hard facts. This has caused bitter disappointment here before.
WW, I never posted BS. I challenged opinions and agitated holders to achieve my objective of removing Minty. This was an objective shared by others and the only difference being we approached it in different ways. Nothing more, nothing less.
The only one who started throwing around personal insults here was you Roger. Further, I’ll decide what my level
is and what I want to say and not some avatar. I’ll let you get on and sit back listening to speculation you want to hear while cynical posters try to undermine confidence and sow doubts on the other board too shall I?. Must be hard life in your ivory tower.
Roger get back in your box, looks like you were just waiting for another opportunity to have a go. Get over it already. If it was down to idiots like you we would still have Minty running the roost. Remind me, did you actually attend the AGM? I couldn’t care less about your views on me and sounds like you have issues letting go.
You may believe there are well respected and researched posters on here. I do not. It’s a board of PI’s with differing opinions, exposure and patience. It’s has shown time and time again that the research is only as good as any reality that comes to pass with traders being the only ones who’ve really benefitted yet.
So my point stands, all the stuff about Dommo from Seadog, SBP, Sharelock is not well informed research. No one has found a document or indeed any reference to MFDEVCO and the OSX in all this time. Therefore, everything is speculation and should be treated as such. The conversation tonight suggested a foregone conclusion and that’s got this board in trouble many times and played into the hands of cynical traders.
In this post Minty world no one has any more info than another so the most important thing is to let it play out.
Guys - let's not get ahead of ourselves here. Speculative ill-informed ramping is just as damaging as speculative deramping. Nothing is certain until that RNS arrives, however, I remain extremely positive we are in critical news territory.
My view on the current SP and selling is that for the majority of traders who inhabit AIM, JOG has well and truly fallen off the radar. I believe there is confusion over what kind of drill it is and only today on twitter someone is asking where the rig is.
I actually kind of like it, the less this is like another 88e the better and the company have been sensible in not issuing silly RNS updates on every kind of development, material or otherwise ahead of the appraisal. In my view this means that the share will really skyrocket when the results are known.
Get in, load up now in my view as it's literally a licence to print money from these levels.
Well I don’t know that anyone can make that statement as most of the assumptions about the deal are based on speculation. What the company do need to do, however, is update us on progress on the deal they stated had barriers to competition and was of particular interest. Simply saying “oh yeah Brazil is still in play” could mean anything to be honest. My view is that something definitely changed or developed that shifted us from exciting times to could be exciting times and Graham acknowledged this in as much as was possible at the AGM. It is clear they are working on this deal and it’s very much in play hence the recent recruitment.
Nothingbwhich has been posted tonight is new or post dates Graham’s reassurances so I rather take his word on the informed basis that he’s a straight talking, professional Chairman over the idle speculation which turn into wild assumptions traded on these boards. Haven’t we all learned that lesson the hard way here?
SBP, I’m finding your comments tonight very hard to square with your bullish comments of Sunday night. Care to explain the turnaround?
Back in the fence, SBP? ;)
Seadog, it’s all an audit trail of lies and bitterness. Why ADVFN haven’t intervened to call time on the IP address before now is beyond me. The FCA are very interested.
Well SBP - it’s great to see you finally come off that fence and acknowledge change and progress here. Welcome :)
LOL only one person getting ahead of themselves, Alert ;) But I love the optimism back here.
nice steady rise, firming up as it goes. this is going to come good shortly, so many positive indications...
very nice to see momentum building back up here.... we are almost there, I believe
Whoever was daft enough (although it could have been a stop loss) to sell 7m at .8 must be gutted. This is a disgraceful drop by the MM’s. Buys flooding in and way outweigh sells. Corrupt market at worst, dysfunctional at best.
Totally agree, WW. The idea of him scrabbling to sell a few measly shares for a bit of profit, when he made the statement he did in the RNS, is just ludicrous and to suggest otherwise is duplicitous.
