RE: Major shareholder changes - shows who the sellers are9 Jul 2025 18:03
Thank you for the update Sea7, yes its been pretty obvious these past few weeks, and months that there have been large sellers in the background,
some funds have been turning away from oil stocks altogether,
its no wonder JSE in particular has seen its share price decimated, even when the numbers will look pretty decent when the half year results are results, debt will be down massively, imo and capex cost will be slashed in 2026 , i hope the Company hold back on share buybacks and build up the cash position to at least Β£75 million before buying back
the big driver in the SP will of course be the Vietnam asset come the FID , i think the Company have been talking to suitors /partners in preparation of the FID , its a really huge Gas Asset for JSE currently to take on, on its own
i think Petro-Vietnam would be the ideal partner?
anyhow the only positive i take regarding the Sp is that if you believe that the Company will turn the corner this year it's an ideal time to continue to buy and hold for the long term
One Huge positive is Tyrus continue to hold and add, they have invested multi million into JSE and will want a decent return in the near future
Patience as always !!!!
