To be a bit clearer
First 3 tests (2 weeks) school children tested at school by professionals with LFT tests no back up PCR testing.
After that all LFT tests will be done at home by parents and will be backed up with PCR if a positive is found.
LFT testing at school for school children only for first 3 tests (2 weeks) after that positives will be checked with PCR as it’ll be at home testing for school children.
Good to see Marr stating accuracy of the LFT tests not good.

- the only solution to get away with this: strict lockdown (several weeks) to curb the epidemic then to deconfinement: test, trace, isolate.... as in China.... CQFD
- In the short term, the vaccine is not a means of controlling the epidemic...
vaccinated + immunity acquired in the French population = 15 to 20 %(too little)
- virus mutates quickly and easily, we can't vaccinate everyone at the same time... so virus adapts to vaccines, messenger RNA technology will allow for vaccine modifications
- no interest in the vaccination passport because even the best vaccines are not 100 % effective and the duration of immunity they confer is unknown...
“A secondary PCR test will be required for positive lateral flow tests which are taken at home, either through at home PCR testing or at a local PCR testing site.”

I have just found out the last time GM did an interview with Sharebuyers was on 20th September 2020.
The share price more than doubled within a month of the interview being published.
Let’s hope the same happens this time!!
DHSC contracted landed a few days after the interview....
More surge testing - must be Novacyt IMO as other tests don’t specifically identify variants - good chance this will be needed worldwide for virus surveillance- as worry is variants can have a negative impact on efficacy of vaccines.
Surge testing is being introduced in more areas of England after cases of the coronavirus variant first discovered in South Africa were detected.
The testing be deployed in:
Middlesbrough within the TS7 postcode
Areas in Walsall
Specific areas in the RG26 postcode in Hampshire
People in these areas are strongly encouraged to take a COVID test this week, whether or not they have symptoms, said a Department of Health spokesperson.
People without symptoms should visit their local council website for more information, while those with symptoms should book a NHS test the usual way.
The South Africa variant is believed to be more resistant to vaccines.
The extra testing has also been rolled out recently in areas of London, Manchester, Kent and Surrey.

I saw it had been posted but not much reaction to the interview news.
Personally see as big news as GM hasn’t given an interview in over a year.
Hopefully big news incoming but even if it’s just stepping up engagement with shareholders it’s great for us, not so good for shorters.
Wonder if we’ll get news before??
“And investors in #NCYT can also look forward to next week! We will be publishing our interview with CEO Graham Mullis and talking everything from its incredible performance, share price and why the future is bright. Stay tuned!”

The Brazil Variant is Exposing the World’s Vulnerability
Somehow COVID-19 is rampaging through a city that was supposedly immune.
Even in a year of horrendous suffering, what is unfolding in Brazil stands out. In the rainforest city of Manaus, home to 2 million people, bodies are reportedly being dropped into mass graves as quickly as they can be dug. Hospitals have run out of oxygen, and people with potentially treatable cases of COVID-19 are dying of asphyxia. This nature and scale of mortality have not been seen since the first months of the pandemic.
This is happening in a very unlikely place. Manaus saw a devastating outbreak last April that similarly overwhelmed systems, infecting the majority of the city. Because the morbidity was so ubiquitous, many scientists believed the population had since developed a high level of immunity that would preclude another devastating wave of infection.
Data seemed to support the idea that herd immunity in Manaus was near. In Science this month, researchers mapped the virus’s takeover last year: In April, blood tests found that 4.8% of the city’s population had antibodies to SARS-CoV-2. By June, the number was up to 52.5%. Since people who get infected do not always test positive for antibodies, the researchers estimated that by June about two-thirds of the city had been infected. By November, the estimate was about 76%.
Yet now, the nightmare scenario is happening a second time. The situation defies expert expectations about how immunity would help protect the hardest-hit populations.
If they decide to delay some invoices from 2020 so the revenue is reported in 2021 they can do that - totally legal and makes sense for the business going forward so making sure 2021 revenues will be (much) higher than 2020.
Personally I think they did that - it’s just amazing how close to the Numis revenue target they were - coincidence - I think not. All IMO.
