RedMaple: It’s flowing!
Phrontist: what is also fabulous is that a successful Icewine will see most of the proceeds from PB’s share going to charity if I’m not mistaken. Wow, think of all the good that cash can do.
PS We never visited the moon and Elvis is alive!
TheCreator: yes, it’s a super bonus and will certainly drive interest in 88e and it’s ongoing activities.
Cjml: it’s a good omen indeed and expect an uptrend to develop now.
Although the news is very positive, the only way sentiment will improve is when the news is written in a form most of us can comprehend. Let’s remember that hydrocarbons previously showed prior to the winter shut-in. The well is continuing to flow and it’s quute normal to see the pressure fall. In fact it’s also very normal to have a number of shut-ins during the production cycle of a well. We are coming closer to the 30% frack fluid extraction target. Unfortunately the company keeps using the word “water” which of course it mainly comprises. It’s almost as if the company wants to play down expectations so it would not surprise me at all to see a massive shift in sentiment when they announce the news we all await. Nerves of steel required!
What is interesting about the market is that it is entirely driven by fear and greed so don’t expect to see any rationality. Just look at the squabbling on this board because the SP is not going up. I get it, if you are a trader and bought in recently you are probably feeling wounded whereas investors remain quietly confident that all will come good. The quickest way to lose money is to lose your bottle. Remember it’s a paper loss until it’s crystallised when you press the sell button!
Just look at the SP as option money at this stage and ask, can I afford not to be invested?
GADGETinspector: doesn’t matter what the market thinks. The only thing that counts is the result which we will all certainly have once it is known.
I recall the tremendous SP volatility just before the announcement of the Icewine discovery and so it’s no surprise to see history repeating itself. The nervous should definitely not be here and only confident well researched investors will reap any rewards. It’s no surprise that water is coming out as water was put in. It’s what’s in the water that matters and only when 30% approx has been extracted will we know the score. Keep the faith!
Sageman: I see what you mean about the undiscovered oil value and I haven’t even gone there as totally focused on what we have found and the unconventional leads which should hopefully become clearer once the 3D has been examined. There are multiple potential revenue streams and Yukon Gold could be very big.
Sageman: The oil has been discovered and the flow test is to determine whether it can be extracted commercially.

HardToHandle: its always darkest before dawn......
PaddymccDrc: unlikely as 3D will help to derisk and therefore improve offer.

Darkelf: thevonly guarantees are death and taxes!
We should be back at four pence by end of week which is where it has and rightly deserves to be: We already know the oil is there and the production tests will soon tell us how much it flows. Very exciting times indeed!
