I received a message from my broker at 8.00am this morning saying the retail offer had closed, which probably means it closed at the end of Friday.

Considering it was supposed to close at 10am today I assume it was largely oversubscribed which is a great vote of confidence for the company and great for the company itself.

The creeps always come out on days such as today.

Buddhabob, I believe it’s to put the funding issue to bed because it has been a drag on the share price. And would have only gotten worse as the months ticked by.

As mentioned in the announcement, this will see us through the trial results which should see a marked improvement in the share price and commencement of deal negotiations.

Burble, from memory I believe this was raised at an AGM and was disclosed as a mutually beneficial partnership with no cost as to prove up both parties IP’s

Chester, you are correct, but they could have easily raised double what was announced but they didn’t, which is a positive in my books.

Violin - the placing price is 10.5p not 10.1p

Also, I intend to use this opportunity to add significant funds at that level.

While not ideal, what I’m surprised at is the small size of the cash raise, usually we would expect to see circa £20m or so.

So on the upside hopefully that’s only what the company thinks they will need before the trial results come out and the deal negotiations begin ?

Agreed, Lindy said it would be similar so we should assume £6 million would be the minimum up front, hopefully more !

Looking at he date of the transaction and the sales since I would say they have now sold all their remaining shares.

We won’t know as they were under the reporting threshold since August.

As I said at 8pm last night, the mm’s are really having to work very hard to fill all these large buy orders.
