The founder of FTSE 250 joiner and kitchen supplier Howden Joinery will retire as chief executive next year after 22 years at the company. Matthew Ingle will be replaced by Andrew Livingston, the chief executive of Kingfisher’s Screwfix division. After stepping down, Mr Ingle will become Howdens’ honorary lifetime president.
