Not great but who was expecting anything other than terrible results? Mostly priced in BP share price imo, can’t see them going much lower while still offering a decent divi in this climate

Step 1 : Implament a worldwide pandemic,but withhold any announcement of this until it has time to be spread across the globe.

Step 2: lock everyone down but give them a taste of what it’s like to be paid to sit on their arses all day, while there employers struggle to keep the lights on.

Step 3: when all’s looking like the media have given up spinning the same **** with rigged numbers that will never be able to be verified, they implement the fake second wave( note Spain have openly said there number of cases are minscule) and lockdown again.

Step 4: pay people again while leaving the company’s to now fund furlough themselves then go bust. Making the whole population completely reliant on government hand outs

Step 5: government step in and buy company’s, huge unemployment means everyone has a small role to play but for a pathetic universal income.(It’s been mentioned on the news,trust me look for these hints)

Step 6: oh that money we gave you? We are going to need that repaying in instalments out of your universal income. Oh you had a bounce back loan too? We will need that aswell.

Step 7: You have complete control over all country’s reduced to an extreme communist state, Controlled by the illusion of crippling debt that is not even real.

You actually think China are not interested in world domination? They have planned this stuff for century’s, I just learned today they fund huge percentages of our university’s so they can control our teaching curriculum.
Hawia or whatever it was called was next, railway lines, everything the Chinese are quietly taking over.

It might not be China, it could be WHO. It might just be a genuine over hyped virus(I really hope) but for mankind’s brain dead race to survive you have to think a head and out of the box, too many people with this “ lol ha that would never happen” approach.

Oh and returning a special divi of $250 m back to sh, I wouldn’t want that here, just the $500 m to knock off the RI and some debt will do please TD :-)

I don’t know anything about cairn energy but at a scan read they have just sold an asset(s) that is not producing for $400 m + capex costs from jan 2020 with 90m 2p in Senegal. Something’s telling me zama will make someowhere around the same maybe even $500m.

The sale process for zama hasn’t just started, it’s been underway for months, no one knows of its current progress but it didn’t just start when we bought BP assets. Like I’ve said before it might be pushed on and sold at a discount rate,my guess to Pemex, they need the reserves and production but have to be seen to deal fairly with foreign company’s to continue attracting exploration.

If Tony is stupid enough to talk about an RI and then leave the sp to drift before taking any action I’ll eat my words, but I don’t think he is that stupid, he has something up his sleeve, it may be to add it to the debt but the amount is negligible In the grand scheme of things, I don’t see how adding that sort of production and value to net assets it’s screwing investors, if you would like to talk me through that I’d be all ears?

Jay, this is just ifs and maybes but tony is going to say an RI is due because that’s worst case scenario, if a deal is being worked on for zama in the mean time we wouldn’t need an RI but Tony can’t say that and then announce an RI later on then we all would feel shafted, underpromise and over deliver is better than the other way around.

SK I can’t get my head around how you don’t see the value in the BP deal? I get that it’s not ideal spending our way out of debt but the rate of return on this is phenomenal, providing oil recovers.

We do need clarity on RI soon as half year results next week are likely to pull the ftse down. I’m saving a monster top up now in case this goes further in the 30’s but my thoughts are TD has something lined up and hence the wait. I still think Zamia news and possibly no RI
