Good morning Doyen Dan , I think you have cracked my conhumdrum, ADR doesn't carry any withholding tax , been puzzling me awhile why some of my US stocks dividends get taxed at different rates , I hold Vod uk shares in isa and trading acc , Vod adr held in isa , it was only a tester real with Vod adr buying some before ex dividend date and selling some after ex div and collecting divs , as for dealing costs depends on your broker iweb have no minimum charge just 1.5% ,should of just asked you Doyen Dan in the first place, wasting hours of research lol...atb

Good evening Robleo...yes not a bad week at all, might be something in that wand then lol, a near 7% rise since Mon to Fri . Received Vod (Nasdaq) dividends on Mon and no with holding tax (WHT) deducted same as Lloyd's then so this must be the case if they have dual listings .I never had any luck holding them premium bonds , held for over 10 years!!! Atb

Good evening Doyen Dan , Yes, been in the trade since the age of 16. I'm in my twilight years now , speaking of my elderly neighbour. I've spoken to him earlier, sat in back garden waiting to watch for the bats to come out tonight, sometimes I hate listening to my elders...may we see 1£ for Xmas, always looking forward to reading your postings ...atb

i found best time to buy is Oct for the Santa rally but alas Vod Sp is never been included you probably hold fab 4 in them funds , Nvda been the best, I hold a few US stocks but nothing big , took a few Vod on Nasdaq , other month as a tester , sold half day before ex-div and kept other half to collect div's and sold them last night, probably get with holding tax deducted have to see what percentage it is as this varies usually 15% , Lloyd's on Nasdaq get this ,is zero rated for div's , hopefully Vod sp has seen the last of lows ..atb

Doyen Dan ....skiing worse case senerio (Spending Kids Inheritance) short for ,a big no , this market correction probably preparing for a Santa rally, the old adage go away in May come back after St Ledger's day ,but somehow Vod Sp is never included but one day...atb

Well the Bounty has arrived today, strictly cash for and decisions later , US market correction at the moment, but Vod on Nasdaq holding, but as my elderly neighbour politely informed me I'm now Walking back down the hill, I have to bear that in mind , enjoy your weekend, full list will follow....atb

The final dividend payment has arrived, end of the line , those who don't have a Nationwide acc , the past 2 years they been paying £100 for acc holders , profit sharing as its a mutual bank , kind of a dividend I guess..... another freeride bites the dust...atb
