Hi Smithy Still holding approximately 500,000 in my SIPP that I had forgotten about, intended selling them today but been to busy.
Will offload at some point over the next couple of days then wait for results to come out and watch in anticipation as the clock ticks by to see if this boutique investor ever materialises. Definitely prefer to sit on the sidelines here knowing the kids inheritance is safe.
It could all be over in the next 6months but if they do get some kind of angel investor it could easily hit 10p, it's a big risk I don't need to take and I'm not averse to taking chances, I'm just not fancying this one with the 6months voluntary work they are offering.

Was today's RNS merely an attempt to pull the wool over holders /investors eyes, wouldn't be the first time.

Almost 2 years wasted and the record that has been repeatedly played is the tech team are working hard on developing the app.
Surely 2 years in they shouldn't still be fooking about with the app and should have been concentrating on building a business.
I fear the worst here, and I think Dishes survival will ultimately lay in the hands of existing shareholders digging deep to dilute themselves.
Needless to say the directors won't have to poppy up, they can simply award themselves a few million more shares after any dilution, so only the private investors lose out.

The last thing BigDish should be doing is working as volunteers for the next 6months poor poor decision by the management that could ultimately be the final nail in the coffin.

Call it a free trial or call it what you want, restaurants will simply move onto the next idiot who wants to market them for free for 6months

WOW anyone would think this outfit had bucket loads of dosh given the fact they appear to have turned the business into a charity

No money and now no sign of any revenue for the rest of this year and no sign of this so called boutique investor that hands money out without dilution or security.

If and it's a big IF Dish manages to survive the rest of this year I can't see anyone handing them more money to squander.

I think if a company manages to lose between 5 to 6million in its first 2 years while generating less than 80k in revenue it would be fair to say I don't class it as a business
More a idea or a hobby, one things for sure no boutique investor would hand them another 2 to 3 million to burn through just wouldn't happen.

I don't thing any boutique investor is going to stump up money if this lot has managed to lose another 2 to 3 million quid and only has a few dozen restaurants on an app that hardly a sole has heard of.
Imo the only hope is forward selling millions more shares after feeding carrot after carrot (Super app lol) in the hope smaller private investors fall for the hype / drivel they will shortly be fed.

With safe to assume another set of showing hardly any revenue, the company is clearly struggling to sell this idea hence shutting the Asian are of the company down after they led us all to believe parties where interested in buying it. Lol

If taking the platform from 650 restaurants down to 60 restaurants is classed as expansion I'd love to know what you would class as struggling.

Looking forward to the results I bet those boutique investors will be queuing up for a slice of the annual revenue (my guess would be total revenue in the region of £27,000 and a loss of around 2million)

Before they changed there strategy that was

Don you ask why wouldn't they take it on
A) Because hardly anyone knows BigDish exists
B) Saves a monthly £250 cost being on a platform hardly anyone has heard of
C) A platform with no advertising campaign
D) No money to pay for an advertising campaign
E) A platform sailing very close to the wind that without funding in the next few months won't be around
F) Better more established apps that have televised advertising that can direct custom to restaurants

Trend I think it's more one step forward two steps back

This is supposed to be a company not a hobby
AB refers to restaurants in the USA paying 150 to 300 dollars a month
So it's fair to assume he will expect to charge something similar in £££
Would any restaurant manager in their right mind pay that for a platform no one has heard of - NO
He also referred to running along side other dinings platforms the restaurant was using - what planet does this guy come from ?? Why would a restaurant pay the likes of Opentable then give BigDish £250 a month - sorry but it's not going to happen
This change of strategy is a disaster for investors and imo a last roll of the dice that I just can't see working out
With results due shortly that we can safely assume will show massive losses and hardly any revenue I don't see how they will attract any funding other than forward selling millions more shares diluting existing shareholders again.

It appears to me that the only reason to change a model that was clearly showings progress prior to lockdown would be that the talks with investors were not going anywhere near as well as AB would have you all believe.
Imagine been close to securing funding and then turning round to the investor and saying we are changing our whole model, but don't worry it's for free and it's a super app .lol

Imo this so called super app that nobody has heard of and donnie is claiming dish are not charging restaurants I find even more worrying as this now equates to zero revenue, at least last year they managed to muster up10k in revenue (not bad for one years revenue).
