I miss AdUK's posts and when I read some of the posts here now or hear HUR SNS's, I wonder how he would respond.
He's gone, but not forgotten.
I'm glad you got to meet him, as I hoped that one day I would. And so sorry to hear that his end wasn't so happy.
He was larger than life and that's why some of us still think of him.
Anyway, best regards to you MissDosh.
Aren't some of the costs variable - dependent upon production volume?
You're certainly brave trying to defend Maris here.
Seems to have been banned.
Yes, I stand corrected - 2005 - time flies when you're having fun!
Were you at Hudleston's "completion" BBQ in Upper Froyle?
Daltry, good to see you back here posting again. Are you back in this share? - I think you got in at the first round in 2006 like me; but thought you had bailed when the SP was somewhere in the 2s pre hearing. Just curious, Sir.

So sorry to hear this news.
Andy was a prolific poster, I think a bit like Marmite - either loved or hated. Personally I loved his contributions to this board - freely sharing (often in the middle of the night) his O&G knowledge, his gut feelings about this share and his interesting life in France with poker, truck racing and old Range Rovers.
I never got to meet him. But I appreciate you taking the time to share this news with us missdosh.
Do you know of/ can you recommend any app where me and my poker group can continue to play poker online during our current shutdown for Coronavirus?
Some great counter tweets from Biffadog, respect Sir:
“Ramptastic Richard. CA obviously selling to reduce their massive overexposure to an AIM O&G company. HUR are an excellent outfit but your exposure is, and always has been, way too risky for a professionally managed fund. Over 25% of NAV. Outrageous really.”
Another great contribution from dspp over on Lemon Fool:

ADUK
I guess you’re correct.
I never saw the doctor loading seismic data from these sticks - it was already loaded on his company by the time I arrived at the meeting. But after 14 years, I guess I’ve embellished my memory with this “fact”, that all the USB sticks were crammed full with seismic data, could just of been family photos or music!
USB sticks were quite new and rare in 2005 and I guess that’s why it made an impression on me.

The garden shed is a real thing, it doesn’t belong in the bin!
I had the pleasure of visiting the shed in 2005 along with James Huddleston and a couple of lawyers from Blake Lapthorn.
It was a one room brick shed, not wooden. Along all the window sills were USB sticks loaded with seismic data. There was no bathroom and JH, who seemed to have a very full bladder that night, had to relieve himself al fresco on the lawn.
Best regards
RT69.

I lived in Buenos Aires for a year, it’s pretty cool.
If the price at Foil exceeds your 63p prediction (which I think is a special milestone for you), then I might justify a flight home to Blighty for the AGM.
PoO’s on the up, but the markets are fickle.
If you’re staying in Cusco, watch out for the kids selling sweets outside the cathedral, they want to pick your pockets!

Sounds like you’re going to Machu Picchu tomorrow. I thought you’d gone to Chile, Sir.
If you’re on some South American tour, please let me know it you coming to Cuenca, Ecuador. I live here and would like to offer you some hospitality, share some cold ones with you and talk about Hurricane etc.
Let me know and enjoy your day tomorrow. I think there’s always clouds at MP, but they always clear for enough time for some good selfies/ photos.

Are you still in at 5+ times the level of MakinHay?
I seem to remember discussion of this months ago, before AMs departure being much later than expected.
API weekly crude oil stock just reported a fall of 1.545m barrels.
Is this trend just a short term distortion due to purchases of discounted Iran crude pre implementation of sanctions?
