Full report shows Oxford ELISA and Abbotts was used no mention for rtc
The proportion reporting anosmia/ageusia increased at antibody titres below diagnostic thresholds for both an in-house ELISA and the Abbott Architect chemiluminescent microparticle immunoassay (CMIA): 424/903(47%) reported anosmia/ageusia with a positive ELISA, 59/387(13.2%) with high-negative titres, and 324/7943(4.1%) with low-negative results. Adjusting for the proportion of staff reporting anosmia/ageusia suggests the sensitivity of both assays is lower than previously reported: Oxford ELISA 90.8% (95%CI 86.1-92.1%) and Abbott CMIA 80.9% (77.5-84.3%). However, the sensitivity may be lower if some anosmia/ageusia in those with low-negative titres is Covid-19-associated. Samples from individuals with mild/asymptomatic infection should be included in SARS-CoV-2 immunoassay evaluations. Reporting equivocal SARS-CoV-2 antibody results should be considered.
New article shows poor results but mentions abbot's tests as one of the 4 wonder if Rtc were part of this...
Good thing gov say it's important to test.

Which would be a bad thing for odx?
Asking ck about media and rtc split
Hi xxxx
The BBC coverage was local to the York region, hence why they spoke to Abingdon
There are three companies that will be producing the test and its approx. one third but the rate each company scales up its capacity is slightly different

Hi xxxx,
In terms of the UKRTC, you are correct we need to conclude the agreement with UK government before the test could be sold outside the UK Government.
Re the ELISA product our Indian sales team are working hard to commercialise the product

When I read odx rns it says they made the test kit. When I read Abingdon website they say it was them.... Who made it? As all the news BBC is all about them and not odx... Is it that if the government buy it from Abingdon then odx get a cut? And how much?
The COVID-19 rapid antibody test, developed by Abingdon Health, the medical device manufacturer leading the UK-Rapid Test Consortium (UK-RTC), has received its CE mark. This means it is approved for professional use in the UK and EU.
Ncyt go up on no news and odx go down on news!
If Abingdon sell units to I.e India would odx make money?
Question though... Are they able to sell to I.e India without government approval? I was under the impression that the UK gov have first dabs at it failing that they can sell abroad...
Or do I have this wrong.
