Dear all, be careful with this one as i believe this would be a steal if it goes to GF. I hope the offer is rejected and have been through similiar before but with an unwanted outcome.

The majority of the private investors probably wont actually hold the share certificates and therefore wont be able to cast an individual vote, more of a collective vote.. if you cast your vote it will be collected by the financial institution/ broker house you're with, when all the votes are in from your broker house the majority decision will determine the way they vote on everyone's behalf.

Ie: 4000 retail investors vote against and 3500 vote for. This would equal 1x vote against the motion. The broker would then forward this 1 vote against but this would only count as a single vote. Unless you request the actual share certificate whereby all of these type votes would count as individual votes. I hope this is not the case but if there is a confirmed offer and you want your vote to actually count you may have to apply for the share certificates. From memory I belive there is a charge of around £30 or so.

Morning Sell2win. I believe the daily bpd can vary and even be 0 as a result of when it is actually counted and submitted for inclusion to the companies daily tally. If thr bpd is missed/late for the day it would be rolled over to the next day. A 0 bpd is not necessarily zero production, especially if the following day has a high number. I think the ave per day calculated over a number of days/month is a better indication of flow. This is my take on it anyway....happy to be corrected.

Just rang ii again and they said it would take a couple of weeks to arrange a individual share ccertificat. I said other Platforms offer far greater turn arounds he kept on saying we pass on your vote with the amount of shares held, tried to explain about the nominee account to which he said the shares are held in a nominee account and we pass on by the amount i hold. Frustrating havIng also explaIned that the two conditions need to be met ie, 50% of shareholders by weight of shares and 75% of shareholders required to vote yes to pass

I spoke with Barclays this morning to cast my proxy vote, they took it over the phone, i also asked for electronic confirmation of my vote, they supplied this by their secure message facility later in the day. They only group if you dont elect to ring and cast your individual vote...

Vote 1: Approve scheme of arrangement . Yes/no/abstain

Vote 2a: To give effect to the scheme, as set out by the general meeting, including the amendments to the articles aof association of Sirius Minerals PLC. Yes/no/abstain

Vote 2b; To re-register Sirius Minerals as a Private Limited Company, should the above be passed. Yes/no/adstain

I'm aware some have sold the majority of their holding ready to buy back in should a alternative plan be found, retaining a small number of shares to be able to still cast their votes (proxy or otherwise)

1 vote for each trading pkatform the share is held. Although the clock is ticking ....
