What did you do mate forget your anniversary? I'm sure you two will kiss and make up.
You hit the nail on the head mate, It's my money not there's. So I should be the person to look after it.
Dont get greedy man, Im sure Big-juggs is more than enough for you :-)
Was the hi Rob for me? Hope your doing well with your investment strategy, but to be honest there is one golden rule I have learned over the years. Let me tell you a little story: When the market nosedived in 2009, I thought is was a good time to invest and met up with some old friends who managed hedge funds etc. (each of these guys earn at least £1m plus bonus's). I gave them a list of shares that I wanted to invest in and asked or their opinions. For example I wanted to buy Barclays when it was 10p and Taylor Woodrow at around 8p. All of them advised me that it was not a good time to invest and I listened to them.. I did later buy barclays at 50p and sold at £3 and TW. at 28p and sold at 90p. I also bought AFC at 3p and 5p and sold at 22p. It later went upto 70p and is now around the 40p mark.... The moral of this tale is "Always do your own reasearch". When the market is volatile, there is no such thing as an expert....
Glad I stuck with these, was sitting on a loss for so so long, but always said it was one of my long term holds... Keep em coming OPM.
What happened there, thought you had your girlies under control?? At least you have a 'pillow' to cry on. Chelsea Girl, I fear you are one of those women that my mum warned me about.... Ones who use em, then toss them to one side (but i never did listen to my mums good advice, DOH!!).
Anything is possible mate. Before I started my fitness business, I actually worked at the London Stock Exchange for 18 years (pre big bang and pre AIM market). So I kind of know how the markets work and the games that MM play. Never thought I would end up as a serious investor, but now I just check in here for my daily giggle as well as the serious stuff. You and juggs always make me smile at some time during the day, and now you have another love/investing interest, its even more fun :)
Mate you are just too much.... Two girls now, ok you got me on that one :)
www.yourlondonpersonaltrainer.com thats what i meant
Rang you, you guys just bring a little light hearted smile to my trading, thats all. Maybe if you check my website www.yourlondonpersonaltrainer,com you will see that I dont need to chase women, or use a funky alias....
Been in here ages and hold shares at everything from .12 to .30 so just starting to come into the black, after many years of nail biting. Just hope that we can now move onwards and upwards, and that Rang-you and Bigjugs, will finally get it on and put each other out of their misery :)
you crack me up :)
I think you need to get a room........................
Been here ages and haven't seen this price in a very long time, roll on good days :)
I'm in here at .30 and not gonna sell till they get to 1p, no matter how long it takes. I have made shed loads on BDEV and TW., so they more than cover my loss on this one, but I know it will come good eventually. Thats the market for you....
this always goes up and then the mm walk it down again, hope we can maintain the positive vibe this time...
sorry i bought them just over a year ago..
I am in here in a big way, and it is a long term investment.... However you can still get the multi baggers on blue chip stock if you choose wisely, I bought Taylor woodrow at 25p and Barretts Development at 70p less than a year ago, both in an ISA account (one for me, one for my wife, no capital gains tax). Both of these stock are now showing over 200% profit so dont write off the big boys, they all suffered when the bottom fell out of the market.
over the last few days, wonder if someone know something?
