4x4 I can't believe that you are agreeing with bumble bee.... not so long ago you were calling him out, how things have changed. And yes I have always regarded him with utmost respect. Unlike my relationship with you ;)
Notes All I want is simple honest answers to what is actually going on. Feel as if we are just being fed promises after promises with very little to show for it, except a SP which is in some danger of falling into single digits if we don't get some real news soon. Not much to show for nine years invested is it... So regardless of what anyone else believes/wishes, I have a right to be p***d off.
Since we have so much time on our hands waiting for news from Bond, here's s little exercise I am currently doing. Compile a spreadsheet with all the promises Bond has made and the date he made them. Then have another column with what has actually been achieved. Then have a column with the actual share price at that date. It makes interesting reading and it is actually factual, no guessing.. I will continue to add to the list until the AGM and then ask him to explain the gaps. Try it for yourself and come to your own conclusion...
Looking really good here right now. Be nice if it holds up till end of play
Buller you are so right there. I jumped on TESCO when they went sub £2 then I watched nervously as they dropped to £1.65. But now sitting on a pretty good return in just a few months. Cash in the bank getting 1 or 2 percent if your lucky.... So its worth watching when the big boys take a beating..
Buller: I got in here around 2009 with an average of around 75p. The road has been a good one and I have even sold a chunk of my share to pay off my outstanding mortgage. I am now in my early 50's and completely debt free. I too am emotional to have breeched (even if, for a short while) the 500 mark. Still have a small chunk here and will be holding onto these for a while because I live in London and think there is plenty of steam left in the housing market yet. Good luck to all, and roll on divi's PS I bought my shares in an ISA account so pay no tax or CGT. Small amount of tax taken out of the dividends but mine are automatically reinvested back into more shares.
I missed my top up too DOH!!
I am also looking to top up here, if it keeps going down..
Get your point mate. I'm currently at a fiesta!! (Bought in high 0.27 and averaged down at 0.10). But totally believe that this share will be a real cash cow in a few years. Like you I dont want it to pop too soon, but will certainly be in for the ride. I have run a few small business and know how hard it is to get finance, the business model for these guys is a real gem and they are ideally placed to make the most of any economic recovery. So I can only see this going one way.
Why do you think getting taken over will be a bad thing. Good be a money spinner depending on the buyer of course..
no problem, not trying to brag boast try trying to help peeps manage their expectations. Seems like we both been around the block a few times..
Also the price can drop because short term traders will buy up stocks prior to results day and then take the profits straight after. Therefore dumping their shares on the market but making a tidy profit for holding a few weeks. It all depends on their investment strategy. There is no right or wrong way just so long as you hit your personal targets...
Been here since 2009 and seen some strange movements, and yes have seen it drop on good news!!. Due to low volume of shares in circulation the MM are able to play around with the share price. I worked for the London Stock Exchange for 18 years so know just a little bit about how it works.... This company has good long term prospects so thats why Im here with a fair chunk of my hard earned dosh. Just dont want people to get their expectations too high on one set of results.
I have been here a long time as said before, but also aware that these can go down on really good news. It has happened in the past so dont get too hung up on what happens around the 20th. This company has great long term prospects and that is what I am investing in. If you are a short term investor then it has had a good run, and you may need to look at your own strategy.
Those pesky MM tried to shake that tree a little this morning........ But I dont think any fish are biting.
Have been here a long time, in old money bought shares at .28, .26 and .30 only to watch them go down to .10. Those were worrying times but I never sold a single share because I run a small business and know how important it is to have access to finance when the banks are not lending. That is why I believe that OPM are onto a winner. When the country comes out of the financial crisis, it will be small business leading the way and OPM are surely onto a winner. I am now seeing a 50% return on my investment here and plan to be holding onto these shares for many years to come. Roll on the 20th January.
Been here for over three years not gonna sell a single share until I get 1p at least. No matter how long it takes, this company has great potential.
