We go!!
I bought in at 81p for the long term. They have money behind them, they have acknowledged where they were going wrong and have set out a vision to rectify it. I'm happy to hold here. Having said that, I am more of a Fred Perry man.
Know why this is drifting in the right direction today? Not complaining, just curious.
Looks like the market is starting to wake up, well do anyone who got in at this mornings price.
Thanks Moola.
That reads a lot better, I'll go with your version!
Back to the lawsuit.
Am I reading it correctly they withdrew because Canadian authorities had not given approval, however that approval may well have come before the cut off date?
If so, doesn't this leave Cine in a precarious situation?
I read the same thing a month ago when it hit 90p
I think anyone who's been invested in this for a few months know not to get too ****y with 10% rises and too despondent with 10% falls. Theres so much crap on this board now I dont read most of it.
Makes sense and is the logical thing to do. Carry on making use of the furlough scheme in the UK.
Not with Back to the Future re runs, unfortunately
I dont see this as terrible new. Cine has enough in the bank and the release date is being pushed back to get covid under control in certain areas and allow more people to go and see it. It makes sense. My biggest concern is that if outbreaks continue they will start releasing films on other platforms. I feel it's highly unlikely but not put of the question.
Great post MK and welcome insight from someone in the industry

They also have reporting delays like the UK, so its pointless looking from one day to the next, you have to look 7 days behind. Unfortunately it also doesn't look great when you do that.
I imagine they have a crystal ball in their office, astonishingly good.

Got in today at 8.40p and enjoyed watching it head up! Would have got in earlier of it wasn't for the day job. Damn people organising meetings when the markets open!
Thank you for your response Bojo, I have indeed done well with Cine and have also taken some profits, some of which I was thinking of investing here.
Hi,
I've been looking at adding a high risk/reward holding and this has caught my eye.
I've been researching the companies recent history and finances and it's interesting to say the least, you can see why the share price is where it is but I feel it may be over done.
My thoughts are looking at some of the contracts they have, they may not be that heavily affected by coronavirus, busier than ever I imagine with some.
What may be a stupid question not knowing the ins and out of running a business like this. How much will the oil price drop have a positive impact on the bottom line? Obviously it will help, but how much? I've been working through this pandemic and I've certainly noticed the difference and I only fill up once every couple of weeks!
Steve, you're either going to be a millionaire or homeless!
