Not heard of that one before, paying on ex-divi date.
Last time they paid on the Monday after the payment date.
Hopefully the same tomorrow.

Was there a cut off date for the special divided?
I'm a holder and have been for a while, so no issues with TSCO.
But, I'm not sure why you can't buy before the ex-divident date and not receive the dividend.

Sadly, I'm expecting a drop tomorrow and hoping it's less than 5%.
I'm more worried about Covid and new lockdowns across Europe initially.
A red day?
I desperately want to be wrong, but I'm expecting sub 150p!

No divi is showing on my IG account, but not surprising with them.
More than likely I'll have to call them on Monday!

Maybe, just maybe this will give a decent rise.
Good news obviously. Bums on seats and cash in the tills is what's needed.

But, hes now in charge and not because of his skills IMHO.
Until I'm proven wrong, I'm seeing a massive mistake.

I remember Tusk saying something along the lines of the UK 'wanting their cake and eating it'.
I fully agreed. The EU have their own interests to look after.
Unless Boris signs off a deal which was sold to the voters, he should resign.
He could well become the most hated PM the UK has ever had....

... equally though, if he does as stated and the UK is better off, a hero.
My money is on the former! Conned the public!

I've been thinking an extension into next year for Brexit for ages now.
It would suit myself massively if the transition period is extended to June.
Long story!

If Boris does sign off a poor deal, he must resign immediately.
But, take the plaudits if he succeeds...

...which I seriously doubt.
There's the 'real world' and 'Boris's world' and they differ massively!

Looking at historical (recent) highs, 178.8p seems to be the top.
A few 175p+'s and I'm seeing circa 180p as the current high.
Sadly, I'm not expecting 200+ anytime soon, but just a gut feeling.
A lot of the recent good news is built in IMHO and we need travel to re-start at a decent level to get above 200p.
But, it will happen.
When? March+ is my view.

Any alternative views appreciated.

Another great post, thank you.
My circumstances took a helluva twist last year and still tangled!!
But, hopefully back on track from February.
If things go as planned, I will be going in deeper and holding longer. More companies too.
But, if possible, I'll still play around with 2k tranches, to pay for lunches.
Nothing better when dining out to know it was 'free'.

Fingers crossed for tomorrow.

200p will be hit, but not sure when.
Depending on traders strategies, there will still be sub 160p days and opportunities to sell and buy back.
Enjoy the profits, or buy more shares.
Obviously, some do like to hold and why not?

Quite a range already this morning and within 20 minutes!
Managed to sell a small 2k tranche bought yesterday and took the 164.2p
Bought them back at 160.7799 (odd price).
Hopefully 164p+ again.
