The SP doesn't really bother myself if it rises, there will still be a range, always is.
I just don't want to get caught in a possible falling market.
I've been living in Spain, on the Costa for 7 months and I can see the damage daily. Tourists are in desperate need, especially the Brits and Irish.
Something has to give, a workable solution is needed and the summer peak is where the money is.
Dare they risk it? We'll see, but they did last summer and are paying the price now!

I'm not convinced travel will be allowed from the 17th May.
I think Boris bottled it, but just my thoughts. Initial leaks suggested August and that seems more logical.
But, we'll find out within the next four weeks or so.

I'm thinking of a volatile week ahead, perhaps a volatile four weeks ahead!
I agree with the long haul scenario. I'm actually amazed at the current easyJet SP. Far too much of a gamble than IAG, which is what I consider as one of the safer airline stocks.
If there is a further delay to re-opening routes, obviously debts will continue and the SP should fall.
Buy on the dips and take profits or add more shares. See what the range is next week and maybe it will still be circa 200-220p, but doubt it.

The island bubbles do seem more doable and possibly used to test things out.
I'm not convinced hotels will be opening up with full capacity over the peak summer season.
But, life needs to get back to some sort of normality.

I'm not sure if May is too early, but just my thoughts.
I agree there'll be opportunities to top up or find an entry point.
I've been checking a few charts / graphs recently, some daily and some amazing swings and sometimes within minutes.

I can see better entry / topping up points coming.
I don't hold IAG long term, so not emotional about any highs, but I totally avoided recent highs due to fear of being caught. Plenty of opportunities to be had for day trading though, with hindsight of course. But, equally options elsewhere which I feel safer with.
I will dabble again with IAG, but when I feel comfortable.
250-300p will happen, but equally there'll be ranges.
If IAG does dip back under 200p, I have an idea of a point I'll aim for - I won't embarrass myself here though. ;-)

I keep watching TUI, but still too high for myself. I fear further drops.
Watching and waiting until April 12th, although I may dabble on any big drops, if they arise of course.

Unless countries gamble like they did last summer, I can't see much happening before August at the earliest.
Spain opened up far too early last year in my humble opinion. I'm in Spain now and can see the consequences.
As much as Spain etc need to look after their economies, will they risk the long term again for a few months summer peak?
Only time will tell.

Long term, should be very good.

Could go either way, but I'm seeing sub 200p. I don't hold IAG long term.
Equally, I don't mind calling it wrong.
Others to play with and you have to be confident. Not confident right now with airline stocks. Too high for myself.

I'm currently out, sold @ 318p.
I've had a buy alert set for sub 307p, which I'm expecting to trigger this morning.
I've got the ADR to be circa 303p.
Expecting a 2-3% drop.
Oil price steadier now after that circa 10% fall.
I don't mind getting caught around the 300p mark. Sub 300p better.

Watching BP, could be interesting today. Could dip back under 300p.

I'm expecting an up day, so may not get that 205p....

Watching a couple of others, but expecting a rise there too, especially BP - looking for 307p.

I had a buy order for 205p, but obviously didn't get there.
Hopefully a further drop tomorrow morning.....

Just watch Grant S and nothing convinces myself travel will commence mid May.
Only, it's the earliest possibility.
A lot depends on vaccine figures abroad and maybe a vaccine passport
Again, April 12th could be interesting.
