Sorry 8 weeks ago. Time flies when you're waiting for a FFWD rns
Rushed placing was only 4 weeks ago, give them some time.
I would agree. Although Sphereon is great for the factom protocol I can't see it having much effect on series b that's all down to inc hitting targets.
How do you know juvenescence has a small interest in insilico? I've never managed to find out the % ownership.
Just tweeted last night for the first time in over a year. Something may be stirring.
I would suggest come back in a week and gloat then Nelson, otherwise stfu. In the near future we should see a series B round of investment from factom and juvenescence so yes we will know the current nav of some of the FFWD portfolio. Chilston for what it's worth I was running a sweepstake on the inc mcap after series B raise for a bit of fun. Guessing ranges from $80mil - 2.4 billion https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1APrGrh6sIWe7jGVlsiR9QuXvyJx8SpkxRZwVPEuSImc/edit?usp=drivesdk
Agreed, legitimises the protocol.
What Niles from Sphereon had to say about how he sees their relationship with inc. "More a partner and to some degree a competitor. We target different segments, we do it from an ECM perspective. We both build on top of the protocol. Factom Inc targets the large enterprise mostly, that doesn't mean we don't have these types of clients and prospects as well 😉"
It was suggested as a possibility about 12 months ago.
Except factom Inc has about 2-3 years first mover advantage.
If you look back at Lornes tweets he mentions monetizing yooya through blockchain and a possible tie up with factom. Again this my be one of the factors that have given us this great deal.
Paul stated in an ama a while back that some of factoms investors had been working closely with the team and it wasn't necessarily the ones you would expect. Perhaps the main investors have been more hands off and lorne has earned preferential treatment.
I have, and if lorne has been working closely with Paul why would he throw 6 mill away if the project is on the ropes? We hade only invested 400k in factom up to now wouldn't of been the end of the world to go the same way as kickwheel. I am confident he knows exactly what needs doing will and work with factom to get it done.
