Strong start for gold as the market reopens after the Christmas break. Looks like a breakout is coming and now many predict we shall see $2500 gold in 2024.

Bodes well for Kefi, IF the funding is approved, and with the current headwind for Gold It more of a WHEN, then the rerate of the SP will be significant. The risk reward on this one is heavily in the reward camp so I for one will look to add to my holding when the market reopens .

So if HAA does get the funding over the line and POG heading towards new all time highs then to see Kefi sp beyond 4p could easily happen in 2024. GLA

TW has exchanged emails with HAA overnight, apparently banks may still sign off the finance this month and confirmed that “boots” ARE on the ground. GLA.

The shindig was hosted within the Ministry of Mines, all parties were they including the British Ambassador and was a great success.

Lead bank credit committee will approve this project very very soon!

Harry stated in the TW interview that all the banks paperwork is now done and with their credit committees for final sign off, this follows the recent changed in banking regs announced in the RNS last Monday. Committee expected to sign off in the next couple of weeks or so. Staff all lined up for starting on site with the community stuff first week of October. This is a done deal.

How can you be so sloppy as to say “a few months” to sort the community, when you know that all shareholders need tight deadlines?

A: The rule has always been that in handling the community we abide by World Bank IFC Performance Standards. That is a very specific undertaking and commitment. Neither the company, the syndicate or the independent experts that certify compliance have ever expected to trigger the resettlement formalities prior to final committee and board approvals or to then rush the community management process. The community is the most important stakeholder in many respects and it will be handled respectfully and patiently. Sorry, but that is as it must be.
