Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Been accumulating VRS for over three years now Steve never been anything other than volatile. Buying on the dips because I believe graphene and VRS have a strong future. Originally thought it would take 5 years from my first investment before the fundamentals kicked in. Might not be too far off as things stand. Happy to hold based on research and belief in VRS leadership. Enjoy the journey.
Eyes on the prize fellas
Try not to step on anything nasty
Don’t forget your board doggie bag tomorrow
Over to the new CEO I say
Evening Soup. The more I look into Anne’s background/CV the more impressed I am
Going to be interesting to see how she sets her stall out. Would not be surprised to see an early deal secured which would really turn things around
We live in hope
IG Index changing its terms of trade which could create a bull squeeze in certain stocks
Watch out for the spin muppets. Great week coming up for NFX

Interesting read in terms of potential direction of travel
Was the biggest ever innovate loan awarded for VRS
Graphene has a very bright future in IMHO across multiple sectors, including medical fields
However, I find the the Co-Crystal tech equally fascinating and truly hope that NFX can make a big impact in their space
I work in the medical sector and long covid issues are becoming more and more evident. It’s a bit left field but if NFX have something to offer in this area it could be huge
Nice summary soup
If only one or two of those land with significant news we are heading towards double digits
In for a penny indeed
Remember Avacta at 13 pence, Bids at 5 pence and VRS at 25 pence
I had a top up nibble at all those shares around about those prices because the companies were in a stronger position even thou sentiment was on the floor
Hoping for a repeat with NFX
The darkest hour is before the dawn and all that
Good luck all
Same here filter. Bought some at 2.58 first thing. Lot of nfx alarm bells are ringing in my ears but my gut says something good is going to happen. I’ve done my research and waited patiently like a lot of other investors here. Let’s hope it’s nfx roses and not a sharp kick in the nads as our reward
One deal and everything changes. Happy with 2.63 top up this morning. Volume encouraging
Bought a few to see what price I could get. 263 to buy. Cheap as chips
Well good luck to all NFX holders in 2021. I’m inclined to agree with Aberdeen Man. It’s all about the tech and this has as much promise as ever. I also really like the business model but the leadership has been sadly lacking. Hopefully the decks are now cleared and NFX can start to really deliver value to hard pressed shareholders. CB has a proven track record and I’ve said before to me that means a lot. Hopefully he has put a capable senior leadership together it certainly looks that way. With that in mind I topped up yesterday. Call me Ronnie Reckless but I do feel reasonably confident and definitely still excited about the future. Some great posters on this forum. Keep those rockets handy
A massive deal would be very pleasant to wake up to Jay. Might even have a croissant with my morning coffee if that happens. Agree SP performance has been very poor thus far this year. I believe in the tech like all LTHs hence accumulating more as opposed to selling at a loss. Like the revamped business model that Blackwell articulated a few months ago. A subtle change of emphasis I thought ?? If we can appointment the right CEO with Blackwell as co pilot who knows we might get out of the hanger and off the runway at some point. Goodness knows we could all do with a little NFX altitude sickness to put a smile on the SP. Good luck and wishing all LTHs the very best going forward.
Well if we are looking at this in the round Soup why not ask about his executive roles at Glaxo Group Research Ltd and Hoffman La-Roche ? Blackwell has been there and done it. Whether he repeat such success is open to conjecture. I for one hope he can. You ?
Under Dr Blackwell’s guiding hand Vectura has steered through a successful London stockmarket float and pushed on to bring in a constant stream of revenues with an incredibly strong pipeline and astute global partnerships.
He joined Vectura before the IPO and has led the company to its current position as a publicly listed company and a leader in the treatment of airways diseases.
Call me old fashioned but big believer in track records
Average higher than I would like. Topped up yesterday. Happy to hold given tech is first class. I will either loose a lot of money or do very well. Time will tell. Some good posters on this board. Let’s hope our fortunes are about to change for the better
As the crystalline 1:1 tranilast sodium salt had an even lower dissolution rate and solubility in biorelevant media than the currently marketed product Rizaben (based on pure crystalline tranilast), the significant improvement in dissolution rates of the new crystalline salts of this invention was unexpected. The greatly improved dissolution rates of these new crystalline tranilast salts could
conceivably translate into improved absorption and bioavailability of oral tranilast, even at higher doses, potentially leading to reduced variability in patient drug plasma levels.

I like to revisit the research when it’s tough
