I am curious ( or just nosey) as to what the other 3 shares are?
We have been tipped. "A professional investor tells MoneyWeek where he'd put his money now. This week: Bob Catto, investment director at Williams de Broe: "A third promising play is Chaco Resources (CHP), a fully financed oil explorer with significant assets in Colombia and Paraguay. Chaco has strong management based in Bogota, where three projects will be drilled this year. The first well is due in February. The group should be in production in 2007 and has plans to find partners for it's huge and highly prospective leases in Paraguay." Ends
my sentiments exactly
http://www.equitygrowth.co.uk/home I spent last night reading there report. A much more indepth and balanced report than Objective Capital.
i took the oppetunity to top up.
months ago when they anounced they were negotiating a contract the sp whnt from 2p to 3p only to fall to 2p the next day. By the end of the week it was 5p.
Perfect timeing, we will be off shortly though.
The Chaco boat is leaving the harbour, you will have to swim to get on board. Worth doing as it is full steam ahead shortly.
Had a nose around various sites, The rumor is the lanmd has a tennant vacating the premises in febuary. Sell land shortly afterwards and buy another company. FEI could fly yet. These crazy investors may get rich for there foolishness.
I am stuck with losses on this one. Why they have not sold the land and are not moving forward is quite beyond me.
Perhaps like me others expect the news to be anounced on a Monday. No news this week hence sells for short term use else where. I think it is significant the price has not droped, these short termers may be left paying more to get back in.

The January update is now available. No real news.
Investors wait patiently for Chaco Time A busy 2007 could breath life into Chaco's share price after a pretty disappointing last year or so. The Latin America based oil explorer plans to start drilling on 3 projects, Platanillo,Peuto LopezOeste, and first up the Primavera prospect in Colombia. But the company admits that it may have to be flexible, with neither the timing nor the drilling logistics easy to predict. In the meantime, with no revenues as yet, losses widening for the 6 months to end of September going from £380k to £590k. However Chacos management remain convinced that 2007 will be the watershed that its investors are hoping for, a year in which it should make the sizeable transition from pure explorer to a producing company.
