Uneasy about…1. Why start art is worth 10 times the current turnover2. Uneasy about the independent valuation with which Stephen Burrell agreed. Who did it? What were the detailed assumptions? 3. One independent in exec signing off on the valuation- surely two independent people should be involved - in addition to the Nomad? 4. Stephen Burrell - is he really independent? Looks like a journeyman non- exec with a portfolio career. 5. Why DC and other start art shareholders are selling - surely you don’t sell unless the price is attractive?
Stephen - the trend is your friend. If electrification continues, there is not enough copper to cope. There is quiet panic to find new reserves. The risk is that substitutes emerge - but I don't see that happening at the moment.
Trading update better Jimmy with hard numbers and bullish outlook if appropriate. We have to pull the market away from looking at this company on a historic basis - history was the pandemic and LVCG did well to survive. It came away from it in leaner shape, but that won't make the historic numbers look great.
When will we hear anything on the drilling at the earliest? In the meantime, probably easier to people to sit on the side line given the economic and geopolitical context.Money heading to reliable dividend payers with pricing power. My guess is ARCM is on a lot of watchlists
That’s never a problem when there is rapid progress.
Thanks for taking notes of the call Turtlewax. They tally with mine! Presumably the aeromag survey has been completed given the comments on timing during the call. NvS said the results would be released so I expect an update any day now. Now court cases are out of the way, I like to think NvS will want to keep his word on commitments to share holders.
Heard this as well DCat. Very relevant for JAN as we are a battery play. The battery market is going to get stronger too with the oil price driving prompting people to switch to EV’s among other factors. Same goes for copper to some degree too, of course.
CU - thanks for posting. The extraordinary effort you are going to de- ramp a modest copper explorer tells me all I need to know. It reassures me that Arc are talking to majors and you and your “friends” are frustratedly on the outside! You want in, but on the cheap!
PS - You’re not even a good de- ramper!
MB10 - will they make any revenue from that Art investment? The 1800 days was the projection at the last investor webinar. I expect that number to increase, especially with the strong activation at Singapore zoo.
