On the 15th February in the comments section of an article titled, “Bahamas can’t afford to ignore oil discovery”, a poster, Bahamas 7, makes the comment that 50 million barrels were found.
Where / who, did he get this figure from?
Certainly won’t post on here again.
Good luck to all genuine shareholders.
Proselenes, no one said it was delayed, what a nasty spin to put on a simple comment. I was merely saying a Puma was right, you get lots of minor hiccups on a drill that doesn’t cause any big delay. That’s why they are flexible with completion dates to allow for this.
Puma is correct, there have been slight issues during the drill.
Be careful guys, this is not “it”. IMHO. Dyor
Good points share scare.
Re. the noise, I’m sure the drill bit is running a bit smoother as if it has started being lubricated by something.
Best of luck all investors.
Totally agree Yonny. If this hits, China oil will be very, very keen to get their hands on this field.
If you want to do something, donate to their Charity Fund instead and let the guys onboard/welfare committee decide who to help with the money.
It will be nearer to Christmas Day.
With you 100% jgbb123. Why post that as the latest from the Tribune????
ja12, “if the rig re-routes direct to Mexico then I wouldn’t be overly surprised “
Where do these BB’s find these people that would write this rubbish?
There are some beauties on this board!!
They are on a 6 and 6 rota.
You are spot on Manwell02, Winx is just a sideshow, an opportunistic deal by DW on the cheap.
The Yukon, Farm Out and IW2 are all still there and the people buying at 0.7 this morning are getting in at a really low price and realise that the Winx drill is not that significant in the big picture.
Regarding IW2, do people not realise how significant it is to have Baker Hughes doing appraisal work on it and making recommendations. In fact do a lot of people on here even know who Baker Hughes are and what they do?
This is far from over, and what makes me say that? 40 years in the oil and gas game.
The Yukon is still to come and the Farm Out.
Best of luck to all.
Well, in my opinion we have an excellent representative in DW negotiating the farm outs etc. for us. Thanks to him we have Yukon Gold and the Western Blocks in addition to the conventional and unconventional which means we are not a one trick pony. Do you not think many other companies would like to have prospects such as these on their books? To me he has been very shrewd so far and is more than capable of pulling off a very good deal on our behalf in the future.
Best of luck to all shareholders.
