I'm covered 100% margin on my spread bet - the main advantage to holding to the end of the month is tax free status on any further gains / dividends

I've still got quite a large IG spread bet open which needs to be closed by the end of March. Obviously, I am hoping that we have a Dividend (or uplift of some kind) before then

I thought it would be better to make sure my IG spread betting account has 100% margin cover (by this Friday) then that gives me until the end of March to withdraw. If there is a big windfall during March (from a specie dividend) then this is would be tax free in my IG account

It would probably make more sense to licence our wearable data for an annual fee rather than a one off lump. Imagine the effect in the SP if they had a 5 year (or 10 year) deal with several wearable manufacturers at )£10 million per year each ????
