Good Morning all - Spirits seem high
This is my first post on EUA , I lost £30k profits on VAL - Whoops and decided on investing in precious metals from now on and invested in EUA on Friday, buying in at 26.00 - So, regardless if the SP drops a little and the company sale goes ahead - this is a win, win situation - No wonder this share chat is so positive.
Joking apart I take your advice and even after saying goodbye to £30k profit, I’m still sure this company will be successful and make many partnerships, which will increase the SP- I will look every day, but will not wobble!!
Good luck oldbaldy.
i Posted this the other day!!
A little bed wetting by me !! I hold 80k and sold 15k on a wobble, then purchased other shares, eventually the panic set in on selling VAL, just sold the other shares and have re-purchased VAL at a overall journey loss of 2k - a little lesson to self :-)
Wow - here it goes again - cashed in the lot - purchased another 5 shares £19k after loosing a big chunk of profit and at lunchtime today, sold them all at a loss and invested £18k back into VAL - I have a gut feeling that the years of research and latest results are going to bring some exciting news in time.
Just a little time !!! - Im excited, even with a loss and a increased average.
All I can Say. Thank God it was good news !!
I had a wobble and sold the lot, with a £7k gain, it was nearly £30k at 08:35 this morning.
Should I buy back in, not sure - The news today was positive and we should have finished blue, even by 1% - Too many games being played.
Tomorrow is another day - Good luck all.
Wait till Monday oldbaldy, you will soon be buying those watches, although I appreciate, the anticipation of Monday is killing me. Im sure it will be Monday, would a company really choose Wednesday!! mid-week impact, surely not!
Have a good weekend, going for a glass of red.
VAL201 was very successful in Phase 1 and hopefully with the new dose rates in Phase 2, the results will achieve even better results than Phase 1, along with no side effects. This will be an excellent result with a significant rise.
Phase II clinical trials: Does the treatment work?
If a new treatment is found to be safe in phase I clinical trials, a phase II clinical trial is cone to see if it works in certain types of cancer. The benefit the doctors look for depends on the goal of the treatment. It may mean the cancer shrinks or disappears. Or it might mean there’s a long period of time where the cancer doesn’t get any bigger, or there’s a longer time before the cancer comes back. In some studies, the benefit may be an improved quality of life. Many clinical trials look to see if people getting the new treatment live longer than most people do without the treatment.
Key points of phase II clinical trials
A group of 25 to 100 patients with the same type of cancer get the new treatment in a phase II study. They’re treated using the dose and method found to be the safest and most effective in phase I studies.
Usually in a phase II clinical trials, everyone gets the same dose. But some phase II studies randomly assign people to different treatment groups. These groups may get different doses or get the treatment in different ways to see which provides the best balance of safety and response.
Placebos (inactive treatments) are not used in phase II trials.
Phase II studies may be done at major cancer centers, community hospitals or even doctors’ offices.
