Dollar went on a big rise from 13:20 onwards which hit gold. That's the main thing affecting it atm now at its highest in over a decade.

Yeah I re-added as it may not be too far off the bottom as you say.

What are people's thoughts on the funding? Anyone think there's any chance of some of it being non-dilutive? Ie gold streaming or something else. Just wondering whether realistically it's nailed on to be pure debt for equity for the final component or whether they might be able to lessen this.

On a more positive note the dollar's rise has now slowed a bit and levelled off (and therefore gold has stopped declining) so if it starts to pull back gold might get a much needed boost. Still very hard to call things at the moment with the unknown effects of Trumponomics and the Brexit debacle making it very muddy waters out there.

Real issue for me is the gold price in the wake of the election. It seems to me like the consensus is slightly more towards downside at the moment (ignoring the perma-bulls or perma-bears) which obviously isn't particularly helpful when trying to get away the final portion of funding here (on top of the in-country raised risk). Still like the company's assets but sadly it seems more prudent to sit on the sidelines for now.

Gold price is good news but RNS showing financing not likely until next year so a bit more of a delay. Not great as more patience needed.

Anyone have any idea when this will be removed from CREST? That's what IG are waiting for to properly settle all bets. Taking forever!

When you say "was making arrangements for administrators" - are you saying he said it's going into administration?

Cmon. You think you'd have got that RNS if it was all honky-dory!? If things were all rosy then they'd have been denying things to the hilt I think it's a pretty safe bet! (trying not to be mean but cmon it's wake up and smell the coffee time!)

It's absolutely morally right for people shorting to capitalise on this. They're speculating the price will fall just as you're speculating it will rise. You were wrong. They were right. They even tried to warn you. Repeatedly. You don't think they've done anything wrong??? Have you not read the RNS..... "However, at the Board meeting, Costis Papadimitrakopoulos the CEO of the Group brought to the attention of the Board certain matters regarding the falsification of data and the misrepresentation of the Company's financial situation, and offered his resignation, as did Dimitris Gryparis the CFO of the Group." You keep blaming shorters. That's nuts. It's not the shorters fault in any way. The sooner you realise this the better.

Wouldn't take a TW tip to buy personally (don't think his record is exactly brilliant), or many of his writers, but I'd definitely be wary of a stock he was putting his neck on the line to slate publicly. He's about as loveable as Piers Morgan but is doing the AIM community a service (whilst feathering his own nest) by his criticism of the regulators or poor companies.
