1) You can pretty much guarantee that if he makes any comment he'll say there lots of interest and talking to lots of people about deals. Virtually no CEO would do anything else and say "we've got no real interest and have just had a few chats with people". 2) Does it really surprise you if impatient PIs have been badgering the ministry. Bearing in mind at least one person I can remember on here said they've done that it's not shocking. I'm sure CH is trying to get the permit moving, had talked to them as much as would do any good, and making points like you suggest. Doesn't mean they're going to suddenly issue it though. 3) If there aren't any firm plans he can't really say much can he? For all we know INA want to see if they get the permit.....because if they don't INA are in the strongest possible negotiating position.

We all know that. He was asking what the bid price was not the quoted price. Re-read his message until you finally understand this.

Ta-trade: he was obviously talk about the bid and ask not the quotes you can get in between those prices. Hence his message you dummy. I don't need to hold shares to see what the bid is on a Level 2 screen.

CMG - you're the one who started all the insults as usual. If they have any sense they'll finally ban you as it's what you do every single time.

Neebaj - it looks good and asks the majority of questions you should be asking (I suppose I'm biased on that front as I suggested many of them :p). You've got a fair few typos or grammar errors in there though so someone should proof read it to get rid of them.

stockdale - A while back on here I suggested it's a bad idea to go badgering the ministry and likely to make them less likely to come to a favourable decision or one less quickly. It's of absolutely no surprise that a load of idiotic PIs will have been impatiently pestering them. Of course it could be a made up email or an excuse by Colin but, if I had to, I'd bet it's a genuine email at least....

I never said I never made an error and I never said I always "invests correctly" whatever that means. I never said it wasn't your decision to invest here. You do love to twist words don't you. westie50 - No westie. I was in fact trying to help PIs NOT to lose money. If they had listened to me they would have been much better off. That's fact. If you feel your intelligence is insulted by the suggestion that people get caught up in hysteria or always interpret RNSs correctly then you need to sort your head out. I think you're kidding yourself if people don't get influenced at all by hysteria/posts. It's like advertising. We all like to think we're not influenced by it much but it works. You're kidding yourself if you think otherwise. Even if you're the one person miraculously not prone to this, at all, you're probably the exception that proves the rule, and certainly no reason not to post honestly. The point about there not being a change is that it wasn't as if they'd suddenly had a takeover bid. It was probably for negative reasons, as you say, because PG11a was ballsed. If you'd listened that's what I told you at the time.

It's the good and bad thing about this Ta-trade. It's extremely well known now and spread across a huge amount of PIs, the flakiest category of investor, rather than any being in the handys of "sticky" holders like IIs. This makes it prone to peaks and troughs (why the traders love it). It wouldn't be accumulation if they're sitting there soaking up all these buys with the price not moving. It would be an indication of the exact opposite. The market makers are offloading all those shares without moving up the price. This doesn't mean they're short of shares it means they have lots to offload.

westie50 - I explained that,at the time, as you well know. That was a direct reference to the pump and dumpers, who turned up at the time, ramping the pants off the RNS, trying to exploit hysteria, and then and vanish within hours or days. So I said I hoped the price returned to where it was prior to the bubble, and all the rainbow chasers crawled back under their rocks, as nothing had really changed. That's infinitely preferably to me than seeing lots of people getting caught up in it and spiked (which some people probably were). I don't think there's anything wrong with that. Like it or not I was looking out for the PI rather than those trying to exploit them.

Despite what many of you think westie50 - I've only ever been on the side of the average joe PI. Unfortunately that includes saying when I think things have become less rosey, if information causes me to believe that's the case, and usually means getting torrents of grief for it. So far I'd say the interpretations of the RNS have proved spot on (and the price action has followed suit to where I said too). I just wish people could react less emotively and just disagree with me, if they wish, or consider that I might be right.

Your points are sensible, and well written, airborne.......however I think you'd be a good choice for the simple fact you've never descended to level of many on here ;)

You can't say a placing isn't going to happen (it's not as if CH doesn't have previous on this front). Why do you think those resolutions authorising the issue of all those billions of shares are in there? It's not to pad it out and look longer....... They might get funding from somewhere. They might get taken over. They might do a JV. However do you not think they might do a placing if they don't get any of these things (which are very far from certain to happen). We shall see. Everyone can place their own bets (by buying or not).

stockdale - I'm sure they're interested to a degree but it's not pocket change to them either. INA's most recent annual report showed them with 428million HRK in cash. That's only about �50m. Maybe they'd prefer to keep the cash, not have to get involved operationally, and simply squeeze the margins out of AST. Who knows :p

There's so many possibilities (good and bad). If there's nobody really interested bar INA (assuming they actually are) then they hold pretty much all the cards. They're AST's only real customer at the moment, so the IPPC would give AST a bit more wiggle room and open up the potential for them to sell to others in the future, but if they didn't get that confirmed then they're pretty much at the mercy of INA. In that scenario how could AST say no to poorer terms on their gas sales? I think everyone needs to pray that permit lands, first and foremost, and that'll give the best chance of INA wanting to play ball rather than hardball.
