It doesn't do any of those things. In fact it makes it harder if the stock you're being given stock in something even more illiquid.

It would only make sense if they'd had good success and the fund value had risen significantly rather than its current state.
Doling out stock, reducing the value of FFWD, and giving you shares in even more illiquid stock would be terrible.

Stock dividends would be pointless. Why buy FFWD if interested in just holding individually in either company? Anyone interested in that could just buy them directly on the open market. That would be a silly move if they do that.

You're talking much more like 10% for overall success rates and in oncology like Intensity is focussing on it's nearly down to 1%.

So I'm quite happy with spreading that risk and having a lot more shots at something being successful via Portage's portfolio of various things ;)

The key phrase really is this:

Could be various aspects to that, firstly giving them much more flexibility to chop and change investments if a better proposition crops up, but also an investment that's easier to quickly reflect a valuation for, if things go well, simply by looking at the share price of Portage. (as well as the downside protection if Intensity doesn't come up trumps)

So realistically whilst the returns won't be as high if Intensity comes up trumps, in reality:
- There's now a much higher chance of this investment generating a return overall
- The value of the investment should be much easier to see via the Portage SP (and any success on any of their investments)
- It's a lot easier for them to cash in at any moment if there's an opportunity that's too good to miss

Busy working (whilst really trying to decide how hefty to punt on my other holding which I think is a crazy steal right now - although failing as nobody will let me add more longs on it - so would have to be just shares annoyingly).

All AIM companies must release RNS material / price sensitive news. It's part of the rules, AIM and MAR to an extent, and not optional.

Doesn't really make any sense either as the previous half year report was on the 28th December and then the following annual report was on 6th July. So trying to guess to the exact day is pointless.
Annuals are roughly at some point in May-July and half-yearly reports are usually November/December.
Nothing is "delayed".

So all you do is post "this is going to fail", "i'm worried", "not looking good", "going to raise money", on every share, hoping no good news will come, and then claim to be right if the price falls before news.
