Stephan Bernstein, CEO of GreenRoc, details the PFS results for the new graphite processing plant. Watch the video here.
I really enjoy watching this guy on YouTube:

He has been right for so many years - oil price going much higher. Be your own central bank is his main tip.
Icemax, there was a lot of uncertainty when I bought TRP in the low 0.2s and catalysts were unknown at the time - that is why it was cheap. As you admitted, you sold too early not waiting for the bigger prize, which requires patience. Caution in that case might have been the wrong strategy and the future will tell us. You will tell me that "still brought a rabbit or two back home with me". You don't make much money on being cautious as the saying goes you have to speculate to accumulate.
There is some uncertainty with CEG and that is why it is cheap. I like the fact that many weak hands might have been flushed out - some of the LTHs have hopefully been able to buy at 1.15p on Tuesday to lower their average. There are a few catalysts in mind in the next few months:
- what are the optimised output for S2 middle cruse and combined middle/upper cruses ? This will tell us the commercial viability of concentrating on cheap and cheerful drills to increase field output.
- debt financing for the drills
- election results in Bahamas
- better than expected account results
- any other positive outcomes.
As explained in other message, having a diversified portfolio helps. I have also learnt not to jump on hyped stocks. This Bulletin Board is on the main full of doom and gloom so any positive news will potentially have a positive impact on the sp.
BurrenBoy, you need a positive outlook in this game and have a diversified portfolio. You will hopefully have some winners and unfortunately some losers. I am invested here as I can see a possible turnaround and the mcap is very low for a producer.
BurrenBoy, anything can happen. Aim is all about sentiment. I was buying TRP a few months ago when no-one wanted it and then boom. With the farm-out with Beluga to be finalised by the end of the month and drilling at the end of the year, it could turn into a 10 bagger. Is TRP producing any oil yet? Not really and the mcap is slightly less than CEG, which is producing.
As mentioned by PageofCups, "Obvious the lower cruse will be farmed out to share the cost with a bigger partner. It means CEG can concentrate 100% on the middle and upper cruse, which is cheap and quick to drill. Economics for wells costing less than $770k with a flow rate of 80-100 bopd is attractive. For the cost of drilling a Saffron 2, they can drill 4 shallow wells with easy production of about 350-400bopd."
Fredo, that is a brilliant idea especially when you have the spreadbetters like rossannan on this BB trying to convince a few holders. He obviously wants his spreadbet to work out. lol
See rossannan post on 21 Jun 2021 15:18.
Bladderman, this is always the case. For some reasons, peeps love chasing the sp much higher but it is much better to be positioned now before the major news in September and the drilling season at the end of the year. It is all about being patient.
nlondon, it all depends on what the placing is for. I have been a shareholder of I3E for a couple of years and their new strategy worked i.e. buying producing Canadian assets. It was bleaked to start with but the sp recovered quite well.
That is why I am never too downbeat about any shares as I have witnessed many turnarounds.
Love all the negative posts even on a Saturday when there is no trading. They must be paid. lol
Heard so many stories over different BBs about companies going bust. It is extremely rare.
There are many oil and gas companies with much higher mcap and debts not even producing oil or gas.
For all the shareholders, GL.
Starchild, this is a balanced review from yesterday's RNs:
Challenger Energy [LON:CEG] dropped 23% in the wake of an update on a drill project. Despite the news being something of a mixed bag – progress at higher levels, lower levels finding structural problems – investors have taken the bore hole half empty approach, selling the shares down again hard. This is the latest slump in price and with the stock having traded above 20p earlier in the year, it now sits at just 1.3p.

I think CEG could be a target for an hostile T/O especially with the current mcap for a producing company.

Starchild, although the RNs was not what many hoped for, I have listened to the podcast today and there is definitely a possibility that this company can recover.

Many negative posts as previously discussed but I don't think it is all yet lost. I have been investing for many years and I have heard countless times about companies going under. It will take time but it sounds like the CEO has a plan.
Good luck
Carl, I want you and your deramping mates to go nuclear in the next few days and weeks. We want to buy some cheap shares buddy as we are building some decent positions. It cannot be done without your help. As long as we have that understanding, it is all great. lol
oldbutnowisa, if you don't want any risk of loss, don't invest at all. Even FTSE 100 shares have their ups and downs. If it was easy to invest, everyone will be a millionaire. High risk investments usually bring high losses or high rewards.
Icemax, I don't know many investors knocking their own investments tbh so they are the spread betters on shorters on the main. I applaud their tactics to be perfectly honest. Value will definitely win out at the end as you mentioned. As my previous posts indicate, I really like picking some beaten down shares with low morale BBs. Lack of news/direction is really a part of Aim investing - most aim companies have small teams and thus can only achieve so much in short period of times.
Starchild, my last post of the day. Why do you think derampers tend to spend day in day out on various BB? To make money. That is a very strong incentive. They are not on various BB for charitable reasons.
I have lost money on some of my investments in the last few years, have I ever deramped? No point, you just move on.
However, I have made some serious money on this type of investments as well.
Keep the faith in what you are invested in.
Keep going boys, we want some cheap shares. Only the gullible will sell at this stage especially with the current low mcap. in the next few weeks, I can see a switch in morale and substantial gains to be made. Just my own opinion. AIM investing is all about sentiment.
