There will almost certainly be another raise here this year - their AGM recently authorised another £2m of shares (at current prices) to be issued.
You heard it here first...
anything - they need a reasonable spread for starters if this is gonna move.
Today - seems oversold and 1.4Bn tonnes of Iron Ore plus a JV elsewhere seems a bargain at this price.
May be a bit of a rest at this level first I think - big rise for one day.
Needed one of the eggs I laid last week to begin paying off for a bit of a confidence boost and here it is...£6.5k at 6.65 so am v pleased!
AME is back!
Always a leak on AIM and one of the reasons I took it as a buy cue today - still, there's other fish in the sea I guess! Nice stuff Les, sounds good!
Like a few too many things right now, I'm about half an hour late there too! Am considering AFF, NCCL, OSU, BZT today.
I think it'll be up by then - have my eye on some others tho. Will have a quick look though - and hope you enjoy the day - your knowledge and research here warrants it.
Congrats - http://investegate.co.uk/Article.aspx?id=201107040700076582J I was actually reassured by your comments and my research yesterday, and was going to get in again today - may not get the chance now - hope you have a great day here though!
In here :( Was quoted £4k at 45p or 42.25 for £1k and did 4 of those instead of paying more...the MM cancelled 3 of those trades for being against 'market ethics'...last time I checked there weren't many ethics in AIM, esp on the side of the institutions...
Is that on a net basis there's not really very many in at 6's, which should reduce resistance as this rises.
I think that's already begun - not sure why they'd sell shares at 6p, though I can't work out how the purchase/sale of 12.5p warrants moves the price - but it's correlated with both the rises and falls here. Ideally, I'd like to see natural rise up to about 8.75, technical director to get it to 10p, bit of Mali news to get it to 11 or so, 12p on Guinea update. Blue Sky scenario but I have a feeling this'll be a time when my only regret is not buying more. Got 97k shares at 6.65, may get a few more at 7, see how I feel.
I'm not sure it was either but I know from NRRP that any governmental worries can have a long drag time - I only noticed it because I'm interested in VML again and was scanning boards along the way. So your understanding is none of our licences are affected? Do you think there's a risk it'll extend to federal land? Thanks for any replies :)
Thanks for the answer but I only asked the question...no problem doing research but as I know there's knowledgeable people whose opinions I respect here I don't see the point if they know the answer. Would gladly return the favour on a share I know more fully, ie Grl, NGP.
What do you make of this? Do you think it affects VML? http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/nation/sc-dc-0621-grand-canyon-20110620,0,1196854.story By Neela Banerjee, Washington Bureau June 21, 2011 WASHINGTON — The Obama administration announced Monday that it intends to place a 20-year ban on mining 1 million acres of land bordering the Grand Canyon, an area where uranium mining claims have spiked 2,000% in the last seven years. The ban would strengthen a moratorium on new mining claims and activity, which the administration placed on Grand Canyon border lands two years ago in response to the jump in uranium stakes. Interior Department officials said the agency initially would extend the current moratorium another six months, until December, in order to complete the steps necessary to establish the 20-year ban. Mines currently in operation would not be affected. Environmentalists, some lawmakers and water utilities serving metropolitan areas in the southwest, including Los Angeles, said the decision would protect the critical Colorado River watershed from possible contamination from uranium mining and would prevent the Grand Canyon panorama from being gradually industrialized. "Mining would have affected the watershed, disturbed critical wildlife habitat, industrialized the perimeter of the Grand Canyon. It's kind of like locating a meatpacking house next to the Vatican: it's an incompatible use of the land." The mining industry and its congressional supporters warned that removing such a vast swath of land from industry risked jobs and economic growth. The decision "is scientifically unsupportable and sets a troublesome precedent as we struggle to create jobs and meet more of our future energy needs with domestic fuels," said Carol Raulston, a spokeswoman for the National Mining Assn., in an email. Because Interior Secretary Ken Salazar will issue a final decision on the moratorium in the fall, there is a small chance the 1 million-acre ban could be scaled back. The mining association said it had not yet made a decision whether to challenge the prohibition in court. Salazar issued the current two-year moratorium, set to expire on July 20, because of concerns about the possible environmental and health impacts of uranium mining near the Grand Canyon, Clark sai
It's part of the convertible loan to Oman Resources - increases NGPs indirect holding in the Turkey project if they wish to convert it to equity.
Been manipulated ever since it came on AIM - from 10 to 20 and down to 6 - made a good profit on it overall but it's quite disgraceful to manipulate it so blatantly.
Some bits and bobs on the way, but nothing major I know of (reprocessed drilling, maybe some more on Guinea) but as you say this has I think been shorted to death and I'd hope for a rise as those are closed, then some news.
