So a vote won on undeliverable promises, electoral overspending and 2.5 years later we have a lot more info and I’m sure many of the 1/3rd of the electorate who didn’t vote last time will do so and do so with more info. That’s more democratic.
Getting a deal in the single market isn’t a doddle as suggested by Liam Fox, there isn’t £350m dividend for the NHS or otherwise in fact we have to pay a divorce bill (fair enough as we committed to spending), money it pouring out of the City of London and places like Wales and Cornwall who voted out realise the UK gov won’t give them the mo et the EU did. Even the Head of the Leave campaign said they won based on lies.
Buried in a 19,800 word Spectator essay written by former online editor and Vote Leave director Dominic Cummings is an admission: The Brexit referendum was won by lying to the public.
Look it up!
Anyway, democracy is voting with knowledge or no vote at all, we now have more info which is more democratic!
Right,
no more Brexit bullshit
