Easyjet have announced lots of new routes from London Southend Airport commencing 2025 they are also basing aircraft at the airport after closing the base just after covid when they withdrew all services

Ryanair also did the same but no signs of then returning to SEN.

The 380 seems to be getting a new lease of life, with the continuing issues at Boeing with the upgraded 777 and it's delay in entering service the 380 is coming into its own as a mass people carrier, but worldwide very few airports can accommodate the 380 so a stretched version is highly unlikely. Airbus have stated that the 380 production line will not reopen, in the meantime some 380s have been broken up and many are still in storage.

A great shame as it's a fantastic aircraft to fly on , hopefully though a few more will come out of storage and take to the skies once more.

BA refiting their fleet of 12 380s they still have confidence in this RR powered aircraft .

FT definitely showing £4.85 as is official LSE web site, from what I see it's only Google showing £4.07 and as other's have posted that's often wrong, let's hope £4.85 +/- a few pence is the opening price tomorrow.

IAG numbers tomorrow but post market RNS confirmed dividend to be paid early September 24 be interesting to see if the old dog comes back to life tomorrow

As a holder of a relatively small number of shares I would like to thank RR for bringing to fruition the increase in my portfolio value today, I am now in funds purchase my dream motorcycle a Ducati Panigale V2, it's taken a long time after holding some dogs (Cineworld, Boo and IAG) some have made me small profit all of which was ploughed into RR, but with the increase today I have sold half my holding and the bike becomes a reality.

Hope it's not going to be a anti climax, remember only a few weeks ago we were at £4.80+ and £5 was in sight , I don't think we will get anywhere near £4.80 but hope to be proven wrong.

Svend I was keeping to the facts as at 19.20 GMT no doubt it will be different at close.

As at 19.20 GMT Dow is up over 200 so the Yanks don't seem to concerned
