So it was Coburg who bought IFC's Shares!

Wed, 24th Jul 2013 12:30 African Eagle received notification yesterday that Coburg Group Plc ("Coburg") has purchased 78,009,570 ordinary shares of 0.1p each ("Ordinary Shares") in the Company at a price of 0.15p per Ordinary Share. In conjunction with the above transaction, Coburg has also acquired 22,574,785 unlisted warrants ("Warrants") in the Company. The aggregate consideration paid by Coburg for the Ordinary Shares and the Warrants was £117,014. Coburg now holds a total of 78,509,570 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 11.3 per cent of the issued share capital of the Company. Yes. It may be that NC had the contacts and was unwilling to relinquish them unless he was part of a TO deal. The IFC were always in there to promote Africa. Investors or not. OR ........................... So what would happen if NC now approached AFE's current II's and asks them to independently fund Dutwa. In essence, they would now own 90%+ of the project. Only my mind playing tricks again!

Not too over exposed on this one. Any losses will be offset against CGT. What we are overlooking here is that we are still in the same position that we were all those years ago. Then, we may have settled for 10% going forward. If so, why not now? Because our averages are higher or because we have seen so much dilution? Short of selling and taking the loss, I think I'll sit this one out for now and just wait.

Unless there is an independent offer!
