PDL will come good but you will need to wait until 2023/2024 when the debt starts to be paid down and the cash saved can be paid to shareholders (read the restructuring doc). For an II there is no rush to enter here. There is not certainty the income stream as 1 PDL have a history of overspending and 1 anything can happen at a macro level in the intervening period.

I hold PDL and will increase as time goes on assuming the macro element is benign. But is a bottom drawer share.

I am a holder in GEMD. Here you have other issues holding the SP back but possibility for faster gains as SP is nuts VS Prospective PE and historical frequency of large stones (which have been missing of late). GEMD trading update îs on Tuesday.

It's clear TLW would have exited Guyana if they could have, meaning they haven't been bid on the asset. This infers to me me that Total aren't interested in being the operator in Orinduik. Which if I am correct begs the question why?

Since the recent high at the end of the year approx 30m has been wiped off the market cap of this company. By my calculation;ation something less than 3% of the company's shares have changed hands in the same time. If I use the mid price in the period means 2m worth of trades has 'caused' this drop on zero news.

I would love to know what the average MM float is on any given day. but looking at recent trade vol it must be in the low thousands.

Lets keep this in perspective. They have spent 312k yesterday as opposed to the 6m US spaffed whilst they were bored on a renewables dice roll which has absolutely zero logic for a small E&P player. BTW I notice a deafening silence around when they expect to get their (our) money back from this venture. What Gill says now about consolidating is completely at odds with previous actions.

Renewables blah blah, JHI I roll if the dice a few days before duster result. Now he’s an M&A guy. Frankly it’s all BS as judged by the SP.

Lets hope its not a damp squib. We should get an idea from what PDL report next week on pricing. Its interesting to me that PDL whit its more complicated business and assets can report less than 3 weeks after the end of the year whereas GEMD, if the repeat lats year, are 2-3 weeks later with their simple business and 1 asset. If they need help I can volunteer as I can count!

I reckon we have another 10-15% SP appreciation to go based on LOOK re-rate.

If you look at the 1 year SP evolution of VTU PDG LOOK. Then both LOOK and PDG are trading at 25% discount to VTU. If we discount PDG (those that know will understand why I do this) and just make the comparison between VTU and LOOK. VTU have returned to dividends earlier and are buying back stock so closing the 25% gap seems unlikely. 10-15% seems more reasonable. So by the FY results, all other things being equal, and divi announcement expect to see LOOK move towards 85p.

Of course there may be a wide sector re-rate or bid or whatever which is not priced in. When MMH were taken out the others barely budged so the market priced this as a one off.

I don't see a Cazoo as a buyer. More likely they would look to a Motorpoint or similar IMO which comes with no OEM hassle.
