They get the 11m from ASK in 2023, so they probably need around 25+ 8m to repaym. Would be a big dilution but maybe 50% debt 50 equity?

More positive than I was expecting. He usually does sound confident but I felt more transparency to back it up. On the other hand its not secure here until they have the financing sorted.

I’m sure he’ll be very confident. He was also very confident at 50p. He is also richer than he was at 60p whereas I am poorer.

Revenue down by 4.5m, EBITDA down by 14m! and in the usual vanishing trick, and EBITDA of 21m ends up as a net profit of 3.8m. down by more than 505 YoY. Eh?

Put another way at current price (good) cost (bad) levels they need to dig up close to 200m worth of diamonds a year to get to break even. And thats an open pit mine!!

Rich knows he has unhappy shareholders and he'll be looking to actions that will support the SP growth asap. I think we'll see some corporate action soon enough

Chart says it looks cheap, approaching lows but imo it’s cheap for a reason. If there is a cash raise coming here SP will get decimated from whatever level it’s at.

With the amount of cash that vanishes combined uncertainty over mine outlook you’d be taking a punt.

I'll answer my own question. They are trading at 95c to 1$. So if PDL go into the market and buy at 95c not only do they save the 10.5% coupon, they also add 5c back ono the balance sheet. `Seems like a good idea to me!

CFO mentioned this in the last conference call. Said they were looking at it given the amount of cash on hand.

Someone can correct me if am wrong but as I understand Petra can go into he market and buy the bonds themselves. This is not classed as a redemption, thus no penalty.

They are all over the place, buy back at 60 when they had the opportunity in the 40's. Kept in treasury, so they can be re-issued when the SP is 40p or less when the upcoming needs for capital emerges. Doh!

Must be the after effects of those claret lunches on the corporate expense tab.
