Blencowe Resources: Aspiring to become one of the largest graphite producers in the world. Watch the video here.
We’re united in that Rotherby and you’re right it is one helluva team at GGP with true strength in depth - did anyone notice (worry) that our CFO departed? Fingers crossed the rewards for all Lthers and newbies comes to pass soon.
Have a great weekend!!
Agreed Rotherby - there are some real egos assembled at GGP and not one of them would like to be associated with failure and would have enough experience to know whether they were joining a dog, or something on the cusp of real success. I am more comfortable because of the BoD in place.
Apologies if posted before but good to see that our hardworking CEO is still out there pressing the flesh: -
“#GreatlandGold was invited to participate in Canaccord Genuity’s 3rd Annual Global Metals and Mining Conference this week. The opportunity to participate and engage with fund managers at the conference is appreciated“
Don’t patronise me Tymers - I’ve been on Boards of Directors and if you’re trying to tell me that any CEO worth his salt isn’t at all involved in the hiring and firing of his BoD then Shaun would be a first. I don’t doubt that Shaun involved Twiggy’s influence in constructing a first class BoD but you’re implying Shaun had nothing to do with it, which is not my impression of Shaun at all. Anyway, well done - I had always tried to give you the benefit of the doubt but your last post shows me how self opinionated you really are - I can truly SEE you for who you are now, so straight in the greenbin you go and I regret not doing it months ago when you upset others on this Board.
I agree Bamps - I could not explain in any other way why Shaun would create such an aggressive, expert BoD around him if it wasn’t because he knew he was going to need all their talent, experience and guile and for their part, why join a minnow unless they could see there was a real opportunity for them? All good imho!!
Hi Rorinho - you firstly have to login on the HL website (link provided below) NOT via the HL APP - then once you’re on the Home Page look down the right hand side for Shareholder Meetings. Look for 88E and click on them where it shows the green arrow for Give Instructions and then you’re away. You will need to answer the proposals individually if you wish to click Against on the Remuneration Proposals but that’s your choice of course. Hope this helps: -

Hi Hiphop - thanks for replying as prior to that I could only see 3 green boxes pop up and they are definitely not the sort I want to hear from. Good on you buddy and I’m sure normal service will return tomorrow!!
Hi Never & Brom - I’ve just been on the HL website and submitted my votes (with as you say an Against the Remuneration Proposals) but whilst the site seemed to suggest the cut-off date for voting was 29th April - I submitted my votes and they seemed to be accepted with a confirmation email sent to me, so fingers crossed they count!! They deserve to get a shock on blind acceptance of their remuneration as the SP needs lifting and they need to word RNS’s better to get my support!!
Thanks Bamps (and Ace) - would’ve been surprised if Shaun was not aware. Not sure who Bertiesboy is but Shaun is the master of keeping all his options open, so I am reassured that we have many strings to our bow!!
Oh this is tricky Northface (or is that two-faced?) - believe your assessment as coming from someone who has unknown true oil mining experience or believe our MD Ashley Gilbert who posted this in an RNS dated 15th April 24: -
"Having now successfully demonstrated light oil flow from two reservoirs at Hickory-1 in recent weeks, it is clear that this is a significant milestone in the history of 88 Energy. The USFS success represents the first time that we have successfully flowed oil to surface in Alaska - and under natural flow - as well as being the first time we have confirmed a light oil discovery of substantial scale in close proximity to the critical Dalton Highway and Trans-Alaskan Pipeline System infrastructure. To then achieve a second successful flow of light oil from the SMD-B reservoir, with a low gas/oil ratio, is an outstanding outcome for 88 Energy and its shareholders.
The flowing of light oil from multiple reservoirs demonstrates the potential that this acreage holds for our shareholders, positioning the Company to grow and extract value from Project Phoenix via multiple potential development and commercialisation pathways.”
- tricky decision but you know what, I’m going to side with the known professional Ashley Gilbert and put you in the greenbin - I know I must be mad, right???
Hi Chelly - I think it underlines that Shaun will consider ALL his options and will not simply run to an equity raise through dilution. His experience as CFO with Northern Star and how they became a £multi-billion outfit is invaluable to us now. VGLA!!
