Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
PP1, I don’t really care what your motivation is, all I remember is your constant spamming of this board with negativity. You have now bought in and flipped.
I will wish everyone good luck, and go back to being a reader rather than a contributor.
I have indeed sold, but I won’t stand by and watch someone that is clearly trying to manipulate people. Do you remember the constant negativity from him previously? I still read this board, and I still want the company to do well - what I don’t do, is spam everyone with nonsense.
If anyone is interested in my opinion, as someone on the outside looking in - I found it strange that the share price got stuck where it did, remember we (mostly thought 50p+). Was it the confusion over BOO’s intentions that kept the price low, or did people have an inkling of this latest investigation?
Nobody (almost nobody) wanted BOO anywhere near this company - only BOO holders wanted that.
Most people were happy that Bob Holt was at the helm & buying shares - not so about the share giveaway for who knows what?
Bob can’t get out quick enough with his booty.
What of the founders & their shares? Clarity required.
What exactly is this new investigation about? We were told it was a clean slate.
More questions than answers, and that’s been the case since Bob Holt joined the company.
Where next for the share price? After most of us held for ten months, I doubt it will be anywhere near what we all thought was fair value.
PP1, if you think this is a “storm in a teacup” you are either delusional or have balls the size of watermelons.
It doesn’t seem that long ago that you were incredibly critical of REVB & hoping that BOO managed to get the company on the cheap.
It’s amazing what buying a few shares in a company does for your opinion.
It doesn’t really matter who is at fault or being investigated, but whoever it is needs gone, and gone for good.
It probably is the founders, going by what’s already happened, and they are probably expecting some kind of pay off before they leave. What’s happening with the potential legal action? Could that be the way out of this for REVB?
That’s me also out, very disappointed that we didn’t get anywhere near the value we all thought was achievable. Once again, deep pockets and city mates win the day.
Much appreciation to the knowledgeable posters on this board that were kind enough to share their thoughts and experience.
Good luck to everyone continuing to hold, I wish you the best of luck with your investments.
Bob staying on is not an indication of anything in my opinion. He’s just been allowed to collect his free shares, and BOO are also generous enough to pay his tax for him. Why would he risk that? Certainly not for shareholders, that’s for sure.
Bob is only a decent sized holder because he has been given most of them, which he will now sell for a massive profit for doing not a lot for REVB holders. And he doesn’t even have to pay any tax - nice little retirement gift. I actually thought he was one of the good guys & was fighting the good fight on our behalf. Turns out he’s just another spiv on the make.
I’m not sure how anyone can spin this as good news, but the market will decide, as always.
I was looking for some more information on the accident, specifically if there was some sort of page set up to donate to the persons family (I didn’t find one), but did find a report that said -
The accident was a crush incident from a cage that was being inspected. Emergency services arrived and performed first aid before a helicopter removed the casualty to hospital. The person was 49 years old.
Very sad, and I hope the company is insured against this kind of thing & the person’s family are properly looked after. Maybe the company should set something up for investors to donate to? I’m sure that’s something that everyone would agree on, regardless of which side of the argument you are on.
ASI, I don’t think I accused you of anything?
Anyway, nice to see you have a holding here, which helps to justify your not so subtle digs. Not sure I’ve seen anyone so desperate for a share they hold not to flourish.
Now I’ve accused you of something.
