While we still need to see the full trajectory shift, i.e. growth, it's abundantly clear the signs are very positive across the business initiatives.

Also, follow the money. When the 3 largest PIs keep ploughing money into the company, two of whom are board members, that's an extremely strong signal.

There's still risk, as they ultimately need to deliver on their full turnaround plan, but it's not like the company hasn't shown it's going in the right direction, nor is it at risk of insolvency.

They're a billion-pound organisation with strong brand equity, and invested PIs with deep pockets.

MattLarcos' ChatGPT adventures would make you believe liquidation is on the horizon.

I do wonder whether we'll see some form of consolidation across these marketplace entities.

The threat of Shein is real, and I don't see them going anywhere anytime soon. They continue to grow and have some notable advantages, including their competitive price points.

And I have to wonder if this is the reason why Frasers are heavily investing in both ASOS and Boohoo. They already own several large fashion retailers.

Shein might just back these entities into a corner.

Although, the differential variable with ASOS is Povlsen. A man with deeper pockets than Mike Ashley, and presumably also an ego to match. The ASOS brand is huge and can stand on it's own legs, but the progression forward is looking like it's going to be a slow one.
