Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Some nice drone shots there Tro, hopefully another mine invite is in the offing next year for more intel gathering. Some conversations that Safety mentioned from last year’s visit were very interesting.
Totally agree and a much better bb, so much so I've recommended all posts today......well almost all.
Nearly doubled from this price a year on from 2010, so not impossible to see similar gains again.
Me neither, but future metal prices could give us a leg up.
Bodes well so a 100 quid investment today may eventually be pushing the heady heights of a grand once both mines are up and running to full capacity. That’s not it though there could be more on top with the other projects and the expected sugar rush of huge infrastructure spending to keep those in power from being dethroned.
yep loads of them + the duel trades or rollovers + the constant bashing and invasion of privacy of large holders that I think HB is eluding too. Then there's getting posts deleted and good balanced posters banned on multiple occasions.
A good few sells get cancelled graphic boy. Everything that happens on this share doesn’t seem to happen either at all or to the same extent on other shares. It’s just plain weird, but also bodes well as a lot of effort over a long time period is being dedicated to keeping WRES suppressed imo.
They play on emotion, remove that by setting down your strategy and don't deviate from it. I used exactly the same approach and it worked a treat on other shares. Long term holding strategies for good potential companies like WRES are their nemesis, as the want to buy the good news without any of it being priced in. They can't do that if all the shares are hoovered up by sticky hands in anticipation of that good news. So what they do is what we've seen, so don't be sucked in would be my advice for investors that hold a similar approach to myself.
It may well be GIT, but totally irrelevant for me as my buying strategy was always to go big but in small batches over a long period. Same approach will be deployed when selling, as I believe like others that this will be a relatively slow burner once or if it achieves it's expected success + true valuation. Also it will take me several years to fully sell down, so very chilled with how things are currently going. Key thing for me is to not be influenced by the shenanigans that I've mentioned in my last post.
There's also been a large number of conveniently cancelled trades that I'm sure has helped stoke the flames of poor sentiment. All speculation of course, but that coupled with a high number of negative sentiment posts from posters who aren't invested has created a bit of stink for my nose. Glad I ignored this though and carried on buying a little bit each day for the last several months.
First mention of Regua for a while, which is good to hear.
another cancelled trade, no manipulation there honest.
My thoughts exactly 2700t of WO3 should sort the SP, not a million miles away from 1 percent now thanks to these crazy prices.
Yep false rise, mms will drop it going into lunch and then usual lot turn up. Very spooky.
Betting one room is a pretty good endorsement, with average house prices that would be an estimated punt of 30k by my reckoning.
Off topic, but some chunky drops today, I remember a few years back trading PMO and TLW and was always surprised by the differing valuations as I thought PMO had more potential. How things change so quickly, hopefully we’ll see the same scale of change in positive way soon.
IMO the best method to disrupt the disrupters is to use the report and recommend buttons where appropriate. Tro and others are clearly seen as a threat by conveying useful and balanced information, hence they've been zapped from time to time. Key strategy for me is to keep chipping away and that's from someone whose experienced Kev's mountain fountain on good few occasions, every time it happens though it's when you least expect it and it seems only to arrive after you've had a good kicking by not timing the bottom correctly.
DB how many businesses have you built from scratch? The mine is built, commissioned for a ridiculously cheap price and well before the usual 10 years. He’s also got the world’s most successful asset manger on board + local support at a premium + local government and bank support in a mining friendly jurisdiction. All this for an MC of around 20 mil, loads of upside potential here imo.
Dreamy if you make leftfield comments you're bound to encounter some flak. No idea were you get the drunken statement from, as listened to the interview several times and thought it to be coherent and concise. Also just for the record I don't think MM is the next messiah, but I do like the idea of buying a comp with decent potential from low base so to maximize profit if or when things turn a corner.
Not really fussed about more cash burning projects as would like to be slowly exiting on hopefully consecutive quarterly increases in production with tail winds of higher Tungsten and Tin prices.
