StYd. Again interesting post. I have often wondered why shorting is allowed but there are many vested interests involved. Can you imagine an MP taking a stand on this.
With regard to Divi. It's obvious why the Shorters take their position. However RMG raised its 2018 interim dividend by 4% to 8p each despite debt rising to £470mln from £382mln previous year and £308mln in cash outflows, including £100mln related to pay awards.
Personally I can't see it reversing this decision for 2019. We will know soon enough.

StYd. As usual an interesting well researched pov. I go on record with my belief that the dividend will not be cut. Many long term investors in RMG do so due to the dividend and the long term belief in the companies ability to resolve current SP difficulties due in the main to manipulation. Rico achieved his position due to his record of being on the ball. He is a force to be reckoned with and will come through for loyal staff and investors.

Nuri. I agree with your buying comments and do so whenever a dip coincides with cash influx. With regard to the non investor what it does is of no consequence to me. Unfortunately where there is money there will be the dregs of humanity who seek to benefit without contribution.
I love that they take offense at those of us that choose to watch our financial input on a regular basis. I suppose far better for them if their comments are unapposed.
