Royal Mail PLC said Chief Executive Officer Rico Back purchased nearly GBP615,000 in stock through two deals on Thursday.

In the first transaction, Back bought 200,000 shares at an average price of 207.4968 pence.

The second transaction saw Back acquire 100,000 shares for 200p each.

Only Arse is allowed to post a good average. Mind you he only ever tells of his supposed amazing deals well after the events.

This has the hallmarks of a very interesting week for many reasons. A sizeable proportion of the discussion here is pro/anti Union chatter which is rather predictable and dull. Current turmoil is quite simply an opportunity for the CWU barons to convince their members the the dues are worthwhile. It will amount to very little at the end of the day. Things will be resolved or agree to disagree. RMG will benefit from the relief of no or minimal IA.
Not taking much interest in the foregoing allows more time to keep up with the political machinations. What devious tow rags occupy the chamber. Maybe "pot" would be a more descriptive addition.
