Although there are many other factors that are different from last year, for example; note that on 26/01/2022 Jan 2022 coal was approx. $175 a ton with the a share price of 445.

The share price only closed above the current 594 on 25/02/2022 when February 2022 coal price was at $203. So those saying this should be much higher, make sure you are confident how much cash TGA will make at current coal prices and how much they have in the bank since the divi was paid.

I am still out at the moment, but keep I up my research and believe this would fly if coal prices went back up and Transnet sorted their **** out.

Confirmation that the rail line reopened as planned after the derailment last week, however it also list another incident but does not make clear if the line is currently open or closed, just "Repair work on Line 1 and 2 is expected to take several days" ??

MQWABE BYPASS REOPENS

[Johannesburg, 18 May 2023]. The North Corridor coal Line 1 is now open. The line was handed back

to operations at 13h43 on Wednesday, 17 May. A Transnet Freight Rail (TFR) train operating in the North

Corridor derailed on Thursday 11 May 2023. Forty-nine (49) loaded wagons on a TFR train, enroute to

Richards Bay, derailed on Line 01 at the Mqwabe Bypass, between Dumbe and Vryheid. Train operations

continued to run on Line 02, on a reduced load during the repair period.

In a second unrelated incident on Wednesday 17 May, loaded wagons from the siding entered the mainline

without authorisation. A train with runaway wagons from a siding managed by a third party at Koornfontein

near Witbank collided with a parked TFR train, resulting in coal spillage and the derailment of 48 loaded

wagons.

It is unclear at this stage what may have caused the runaway wagons from the third party siding. The coal

spillage on Line 2 has since been cleared. Repair work on Line 1 and 2 is expected to take several days.

TFR confirms that a full investigation into the third party related siding collision and Thursday’s derailment

is underway.

UPDATE ON DERAILMENT INCIDENT IN VRYHEID

[Johannesburg, 16 May 2023]. Transnet Freight Rail (TFR) has made significant progress in the restoration

of operations on the coal line. This is after a train derailed on the North Corridor on Thursday, 11 May

2023.

Forty-nine (49) loaded wagons on the train, which were enroute to Richards Bay, derailed on the line at

the Mqwabe Bypass, between Dumbe and Vryheid. No injuries were reported and operations continued on

the line with only 50% reduction, as a result of the derailment.

All wagons have since been cleared and line handed over to the Rail Network Unit for formation activities.

Weather conditions permitting, the estimated time in which the repairs will be complete and the line reopened is Wednesday, 17 May 2023.

The cause of the derailment will be determined once investigations have been finalised.

Yesterday's price for May was $117 and if it drops the same amount as June's has today, that would put it at approx. $113.5 when it's available later.

Port has also been quiet lately after a spectacular week in mid April.
